Animal Hospital On Route 66

1st time I took em he got his shots everything was fine, they were alil scared of him only cuz he was nervous and didn’t kno where he was at so he did growl alil but never showed signs of aggression. Took him today for a nail trim and they gave me medicine to give him. He never been off medicine before so he was literally out of it. They charged me 29 for a tech fee and 15 for nail trim so a total of 44 saying he was still fighting which is a lie cuz he could barely walk. They are very high in price., front desk lady’s seem to have an attitude so I wouldn’t recommend this place. They charge very high and some of the workers have no empathy to the dogs

They consistently lack available appointments, typically requiring a wait of 4-5 weeks. When inquiring about the availability of another doctor, I was informed that while another doctor was available, they do not schedule him because he does not wish to complete the necessary paperwork it will take to be seen by them. A couple of years ago, I requested an appointment on due to my dog exhibiting unusual behavior, expecting that she would be seen by the end of the week. However, I was told that I would need to wait several weeks. Despite explaining that my dog was acting strangely, they insisted there was nothing to do but wait. By Monday, my dog's condition had worsened, and we took her to a hospital in Aurora, where she unfortunately passed away that same week. Recently, I decided to give them another chance, but the situation remained unchanged, with appointments still requiring a 4-5 week wait. This is unacceptable, and I cannot recommend their services. I contacted another veterinary clinic and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day.

They always have the best staff/team working there! They take great care of my Porkchop & the Dr.s always come in and explain the treatment path well (lots of allergies) and get him taken care of.

Great place to take your pets. It's affordable and they are kind to you and your pet. They show how much the care for your pet and they will do everything they can to make you and your pet feel welcome. I wish I knew of them sooner.

The most unprofessional, non-compassionate place you could ever think to take your pets to. Do NOT consider this place I don’t care how many good reviews you see, they are awful!!! My poor baby had blood in his urine, they took him and ran a blood test. Told us they could keep him overnight in a cage with fluids attached “but can’t guarantee he’ll make it through the night”. Mind you, with no knowledge of what’s actually going on with him, they said this to us. Oh! And to leave him ALONE overnight (bc everyone is adamant about leaving by 7pm on the dot) was going to be a cool $1500. Told us they would give us a call the next day with results. THEY NEVER DID!!!! Took my dog to VEG on Clinton (south loop) and they treated him AMAZINGLY. Even the doctor there said they’ve treated patients from THIS place on Ogden and that they’ve heard awful things about it. I honestly don’t know how this place is still in business. They should be ashamed of themselves.
