I had nothing but a great experience at Animal hospital. Back in February my cat was having an asthma attack and they were able to take him in at 7:30 am last minute. They were amazing at communicating and making sure to keep me updated on how he was doing. Dr Carrie is so gentle with my cat and making sure he is comfortable at every visit. When I had to bring him in I thought the bill was going to be extremely high due to him being there for 7 hours. I was happy to hear the price as it was a lot cheaper than expected. I 100% would recommend animal hospital to all my friends and family!

Several key features distinguish the Animal Hospital of Oshkosh, as highlighted by customer experiences. A significant feature is their ability to accommodate urgent cases and provide prompt care. One reviewer recounted a positive experience when their cat had an asthma attack: "Back in February my cat was having an asthma attack and they were able to take him in at 7:30 am last minute." This demonstrates the hospital's responsiveness and willingness to assist pets in critical situations, even when "booked for weeks out," which is a notable contrast to some other clinics that might turn away emergency or last-minute cases. The exceptional communication is another frequently praised feature. The same reviewer stated, "They were amazing at communicating and making sure to keep me updated on how he was doing." This commitment to keeping pet owners informed is crucial for building trust and reducing anxiety during stressful times.
Compassionate and gentle handling of animals is also a strong feature. The review specifically mentions "Dr Carrie is so gentle with my cat and making sure he is comfortable at every visit," indicating a high level of empathy and skillful pet handling, which is vital for building a positive relationship with anxious or sensitive pets. Another reviewer echoed this sentiment, stating, "My cat was extremely sick and they got me in right away. We had to come back a second time, and the vet tech was so kind and caring. I felt embarrassed for shedding a couple tears, my cat belonged to my Mom before she passed, so it was a little emotional for me. Huge thank you to both the tech and the Dr who helped my beautiful Genny." This illustrates not only the prompt medical care but also the emotional support and understanding provided by the staff, recognizing the deep bond between pets and their owners.
Furthermore, the hospital appears to be fair and transparent with its pricing, a highly valued feature for pet owners. The client whose cat had the asthma attack noted, "When I had to bring him in I thought the bill was going to be extremely high due to him being there for 7 hours. I was happy to hear the price as it was a lot cheaper than expected." This suggests a commitment to reasonable costs and potentially avoiding unnecessary charges, which significantly contributes to client satisfaction and builds long-term loyalty. The general sentiment of "cannot say enough how wonderful this place is" reinforces that the combination of efficient, compassionate, and reasonably priced care creates a highly positive overall experience for clients.
Promotional information for the Animal Hospital of Oshkosh would naturally emphasize these strong features. Their "About Us" section on their website explicitly states their mission to "take the time to listen, understand and address your pet concerns" and that "service and compassion are our biggest attributes." They would highlight their AAHA accreditation as a testament to their high standards of care. Promotions would likely focus on their comprehensive services, including preventative care, advanced diagnostics, and surgical capabilities, showcasing their ability to meet a wide range of pet health needs. Testimonials from satisfied clients, particularly those praising their responsiveness in emergencies, communication, gentle handling, and fair pricing, would be powerful promotional tools. While specific, time-limited promotions are not detailed, a full-service hospital often offers wellness plans, puppy/kitten packages, or seasonal discounts on dental care or specific preventative treatments. Their phone number, (920) 235-2566, and online presence serve as primary contact points for inquiries and appointments, inviting pet owners to experience their highly-rated care.

Feb 07, 2025 · S EWe had transferred care of our elderly cat to an in-home vet. But when the end came before our appt Sheri & Dr. Carrie valued our 20+ years of patronage &, more importantly, the quality of life of our 16 year old kitty. They were able to help us in a few hours & end our sweet cat's suffering. They've always been compassionate & it's greatly appreciated. I highly recommend them.
Mar 25, 2025 · Stacey PaulickWe have been going to the Animal Hospital of Oshkosh since they opened many years ago. The service is always great, and so is all the staff. Dr Burnett is our personal favorite, mainly because of our long history with her at the hospital. She has been phenomenal with all the animals we have had.
Jan 06, 2025 · Jeff BorgenUnfortunately, my experience included lack luster patient care and communication. Including having my calls screened. It seemed to unravel when routine immunizations and yearly check ups turned into a diagnosis for diabetic neuropathy with my senior dog. Once I expressed being able to handle basic tasks like insulin injection and Free Style Libre installation, including purchasing my subscription from Chewy and not them, things went south. It always felt there were too many chiefs and too many Indians running the place. So whenever you brought up cost saving measures, the responses always made you feel like you were short siding someone. The evaluations I received for my dogs health while on the Free Style Libre monitor, included paying $80, prior to my install, to proactively be on there calendar to monitor post calculated info. No real conversation with the doctor, she never had time. Just “recommended notes” that were simply to increase dose from low spectrum creeping into high spectrum. No proactive “how is your dog doing”, “or what are his symptoms lately”. Instead, I caught them screening my calls when reaching out for data interpretation, because the doctor didn’t have time for me. Made me feel like if I paid an extra $100 a vile for insulin through them, maybe I would get better patient care. And less automated messages that my same dog needs is rabies vaccine updated. As if that’s more important for him right now. Or rather it’s the easiest money grab for them in the short term. Automated or not, this vet seemed very out of touch.
