Dr Hayes and his staff were so helpful to my sweet cat. He knew just what to prescribe and they even called the next day to check on her. They accommodated our need for a quick appointment and took time to make sure all our questions were answered. Thank you for caring!

As a full-service veterinary hospital, the Animal Hospital of North Alabama is highly praised for its knowledgeable and caring team. One pet owner shared their positive experience with Dr. Hayes and the staff, noting, "Dr Hayes and his staff were so helpful to my sweet cat. He knew just what to prescribe and they even called the next day to check on her. They accommodated our need for a quick appointment and took time to make sure all our questions were answered. Thank you for caring!" This highlights the clinic's responsiveness, thoroughness, and follow-up care.
Another glowing review comes from the owner of a senior rescue dog with significant health issues: "Highly recommend Dr. Hayes and this veterinary hospital. Our small rescue dog is 15 years old. She is experiencing kidney failure and an enlarged heart. We thought we would lose her last year; they did everything in their power to pinpoint the issues and treat her. Today she is doing great! We know these problems will not be cured, but with the correct diagnosis and meds she is comfortable and happy to be with us. The staff is very friendly and helpful—always greeting us with a smile and calling Punkin by name. Cannot say enough good things about this place!" Nov 24, 2024 · Sharron EubanksI can’t say enough great things about Dr Hayes and all the staff. The vet techs to the front staff were kind respectful and say their names up front so you know who you are talking to. They are happy to talk to you! Dr Hayes took a lot of time to discuss our dogs issues and find what is best for them. Not only their wonderful service and care, they don’t price you out of taking good care of your fur babies! They are a must to have as your 4 legged babies care givers! Love them all! Thanks Doc Hayes and team! Robin Thode
Aug 23, 2024 · Robin ThodeDr. Hayes and his staff took care of our sweet dog for ten years. They are compassionate, competent, ethical, and they truly treated our dog like she was theirs as well as ours. If you are looking for a vet, I cannot recommend this office more highly. I will bring my pets to Dr. Hayes as long as he keeps the doors open.
Feb 17, 2025 · Hollow KnightI've never had an issue with this place but I can't get over my last appointment. Brought my dog in for a heartworm test and wanted to get his weight. I told them it was fine after waiting a while. A weigh station was finally freed for him but the assistant grabbed him by the collar and scruff and drug him through the hall and shoved him onto the table. She was kneeing him as well! He yelped out and was drug back to our room. Very fast, very rough. I don't know what compelled this assistant to do that and I was beyond shocked. He's already scared of the vet so I'm sure getting hurt and drug around didn't help him a single bit. The actual vet was very nice. I've never had her help me before but she was thorough and helped explain everything. Every other assistant was great besides this one that treated my dog very roughly.
