The Animal Eye Institute of Dayton is an amazing place. I took my senior Poodle there to have her eyes checked. She’ll be 10 in December. I knew something was wrong if she couldn’t see the food I was holding at the tip of her nose. Plus, I saw a very faint cloudiness in her eyes. The changes were very subtle, but I knew something wasn’t quite right. So, I took her in. They were so gentle with her and very patient. I recommended using a muzzle just make sure everybody was safe. The staff and my dog. They answered every question I had. And, I usually have quite a few. They talked me through every test they were doing and why they were doing it. I would definitely recommend The Animal Eye Institute for anyone that has a pet that has vision problems.

Very kind and caring. They were willing to do everything they could to help save my 13 year old Boston Terriers eyes. The surgery went well and we are hoping for good results after healing. Other veterinary ophthalmologists were unwilling to try other methods of for saving his eyes but the eye institute said they would do whatever they can to take care of my dog.

It was our first time there today and I highly recommend! All staff was very informative and caring! We were very worried about our 14 year old dachshund & the Animal Eye Institute got us in the day after our regular vet referred us here! Thank you so much to everyone involved in Vera’s care!

This place is amazing. It is a $140 base fee but it is worth it. First, they have a vet assistant do an initial test and ask a bunch of questions. Then, they had two different vets check my cat and give their opinions. Both the vets and the vet assistant were in the room looking at my cat. They answered all of my questions and were very thorough and nice. I received a folder with a bunch of information. It is another $98 visit for an eye pressure check up if you need that information. $2000 to remove an eye and that includes a biopsy (another vet quoted me $3000 for a removal with biopsy). My parents have brought their bulldogs here many times and love it as well. This was a great experience.
