At the time, our 2-year-old golden retriever started developing allergies. We were taking him to our local vet every 3 to 6 months, having to put him on antibiotics, as well as giving him an allergy shot. He would get horrible dryness and itchiness around his paws, which ultimately led to him licking his paws raw. Not only that he started developing dryness around his nose and eyes. After about a year of trying to figure out if allergies were food related or not our local vet recommended the Animal Dermatology Clinic in Tustin. Dr Muse and his team were so helpful. They helped to diagnose my dog and turns out he has environmental allergies. It took about 4 months to get his allergies under control but now we are able to maintain his allergies with a vaccine which we give him every two weeks. He is so happy now and so are we. It was a little pricey at first to get him tested as well as up to speed with the vaccine, but honestly, I think we would have spent more in the long run with all the appointments we had at our local vet along with all the medicine to treat his symptoms from his allergies.

The clinic staff is rude to customers. I find this unacceptable. Both times I had an appointment for my dog I had to stand in a small lobby space with dogs visibly distressed by being forced into close proximity, my own dog being barked at by large dogs, and me trying to restrain him from his own anxiety, while 4 staff members stood behind the desk doing nothing. When staff finally called me up, they took an inordinate amount of time to check me in and to ring me up to pay my bill, all, again, while my dog and all the others were visibly distressed because of the cramped conditions of this paltry lobby space. Dealing with this and watching slow and lazy staff is aggravating. I ended up walking out and canceling my last appointment and taking my dog elsewhere.馃 I have no complaints per se about the quality of the veterinary care, but the level of customer service is abysmal. If you want $260 per visit of my money, you should at the very least offer basic customer service, which includes having a reasonable amount of space for the number of dog appointments you're booking simultaneously, as well as a positive attitude and some consideration for your clients and their precious pets. I recommend your business: (a) train staff to be more attentive (is customer service dead?), and (b) either alter its check-in procedures so that dogs are not kept piled up in a 6x10' space (e.g., by quickly getting them into visiting rooms) or, alternatively, by considering relocating to a more appropriate space for your practice. This is Orange County, not a dumpy location in a shopping mall in I.E.! Get your act together. 馃憦馃憦馃憦

Dr. Muse is truly the best. He explains my dog's allergies and what's happening with his ear infections so well and has provided a path for us to determine the actual cause so we can then treat the problem directly. I am very grateful.

Dr Rosenkranz is smart, caring and professional. We are currently treating some complicated issues for my 15-year-old cat. We decided as a team that we wouldn鈥檛 do invasive procedures, but would maintain her quality of life. I appreciate that Dr. Rosenkranz has remained faithful to that plan and doesn鈥檛 try to talk me into more expensive procedures. Also, the business is very well run and does a great job of treating patients very close to their original appointment times.
