Best vet staff and clinic ever! They are so good with animals and people! They saved my dogs life after an intense crisis his body went through due to a genetic illness. They helped him go from deathly ill to a happy good boy again! They are great at communicating, quality care, and they go above and beyond for your animal! I have attached before and after pictures of my dog. He would not be here if it wasn’t for Animal Clinic of the Ozarks ❤️

While acknowledging that the clinic did a "great job" with a spay procedure, the reviewer expresses significant dissatisfaction with the lack of communication regarding the dog being in heat prior to the surgery. This oversight reportedly led to an unexpected increase in the bill and a negative experience with the clinic staff's response to their inquiries. This feedback suggests that while the quality of medical care might be satisfactory in many cases, there could be inconsistencies in communication and transparency regarding treatment plans and associated costs.

First I wanna say, they did a great job with our dog! We got her fixed and they were amazing, but they did quote us 120 or more, but they didn't bother to call us to let us know she was still in heat. Which fine. But to continue with the spay knowing it's harmful to her to fix her than to call us and say hey we can't do it she's still in heat. That added an extra 150 or so to our bill Wichita yeah it's punch in the out 300 for a spay on at 16lb dog. Yeah no. Very mad about that and for them to us look at us like we ate stupid when we ask why they didn't call us about it. Very upset about that. Not going back.

I have used this vet for years and had an emergency this weekend that they responded very quickly too. We had three dogs bitten by snake and called into the office after hours. Both vets showed up and were very attentive and helpful. They administered anti-venom and anything else they felt was necessary after running blood tests. All three dogs are alive and well now because of the vets. Thank you so much for your quick And willing help and for the excellence and helpfulness of your office staff!!

They will give your dog unnecessary medication and then charge you for it without discussing every detail. I only needed a rabies vaccine and a yearly vaccine for my dog. They asked if he was groomed without asking where gave him a kennel cough vaccine and charged me for it. The kennel cough was unn necessary and costs 35.80. Again the price of this was not discussed with me prior to giving to my dog and I had already stated I only needed essential vaccines due to costs. Very rude staff. Unprofessional. Will never go back and it stinks very badly as soon as go through the door!
