Dr Littel and team brought another level of care and kindness that’s not too common in the veterinary space. They took the time to answer all of my questions about how to properly care for my recent rescue. And the vet techs were just as engaging and eager to help.

I’ve had the pleasure of bringing my two cats to Dr. Ditsche and the team at Animal & Bird Hospital of Del Mar over the past two years, and I can confidently say that my experience has been outstanding. Dr. Ditsche is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, but what truly sets her apart is her holistic and ethical approach to veterinary care, which I find to be rare in the field. Having moved frequently and seen numerous vets over the years, I can honestly say that Dr. Ditsche is the best I’ve encountered. I've brought my cats in for everything from annuals to sick visits to dental cleanings. Her compassion, expertise, and commitment to the well-being of my two boys have given me peace of mind, and I’m so grateful to have found such an exceptional vet. All of the staff and techs have been absolutely wonderful with each visit and are the best I've experienced as well. Highly recommend!

They were very good with my not so easy for the vet cat and made him super comfortable and happy. They didn't try to charge me a fortune for unnecessary tests like other vets did in the past. They were kind and caring and reasonable and took great care of both of my ragdoll cats. One had a lump I was afraid might be cancer but it turned out to be nothing, whew! Such a relief. My other cat is a senior with FIV. They really spent a lot of time making sure my cats and I were happy, and we were ❤️🙏😊

Dr. Greenfield is by far the best vet I have ever had for my pups. He is honest and takes the time to educate me on what is going on with my animals. He is a wealth of knowledge and I trust him with the wellbeing of my animals. I highly recommend!

I recently took my two dogs to Animal & Bird Hospital for the first time, and we had a fantastic experience. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the attentive nurse who assisted us, and especially Dr. Ditsche, everyone made us feel at ease. My dogs were comfortable and happy throughout the visit, and I truly enjoyed meeting the entire team. Highly recommended!

We had a great experience at Animal & Bird Hospital of Del Mar. My Umbrella Cockatoo went to stay for boarding and grooming and loved it. The vet and staff were so attentive and caring. Will definitely come back for boarding.

My little dog had her teeth removed surgical. The entire staff were educated, compassionate and professional. At discharge, the vet took the time to talk thru the orders and answer all our questions. The discharge write up went thru the surgery step by step along with nail trimming for free since it was needed at the time and ideal timing. WOW! They even followed up to ensure my little dog was on the mend. We have been at Animal & Bird Hospital for years...They always go the extra mile....Thank you for taking care of our fur baby with tender loving care!
