Alpha Animal Hospital

Moved to Alpha Animal hospital after having a horrible experience with another vet clinic in the area. So far they have been great. Super friendly, easy to schedule appointments, and they even took us a bit early as I showed up before our scheduled appointment. Most importantly, they provided an accurate analysis of my dog’s condition and provided some excellent recommendations for additional care.

Dr Ellison is an expert cat specialist, an extremely knowledgeable, experienced and compassionate vet. The staff of vet techs and assistants are all competent and caring. Fees are reasonable and a good value for the level of expertise and service. Highly recommend!

I cannot praise the work this clinic does enough. The entire staff is very kind and gentle with my cat. They’ve told me, on different occasions, to hold off on visits that don’t seem to be necessary or immediate. I’ve recommended them to multiple people and will continue doing so. We were really impressed by Dr. Ellison's thorough attentiveness, compassion and care for our senior cats, which was why we were particularly disappointed that we were told there was no availability to see our cat in critical condition. And, despite confirming they received our message requesting an appointment, they didn't even follow up with us - we had to call them. We had to make the difficult decision to put our cat down at an unfamiliar vet's office that could be bothered to make time for us. That's probably where we'll be taking our remaining pet for care now.

We've been bringing our pets to Alpha Animal Hospital for years. They have been excellent partners to support our pets' health, especially for the pets who have needed the most frequent and challenging care. Every one of the vets at this practice are incredibly thoughtful, thorough, responsive, and realistic. Most recently, they have helped us to properly diagnose a tricky case of IBD in one of our cats. Dr. Ellison went so far as to regularly email me to check in on his health and to respond quickly whenever a change in protocol was needed. I know that she's as invested in his health as I am. We've moved a few times over the years, and we recently tried another highly rated vet closer to our new home, only to return to Alpha because their level of care is so above and beyond.
