Based on available customer feedback, the environment at Almond Veterinary Hospital appears to be generally positive, with specific mentions of friendly and kind staff. One reviewer highlighted the positive interactions with the veterinary assistant and Carol at the front desk, suggesting a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. This indicates that the hospital aims to create a comfortable experience for pet owners during their visits. However, it is essential to consider all feedback to gain a balanced understanding of the clinic's environment and practices.

As a Pet Hospital, Almond Veterinary Hospital likely offers a range of veterinary services to address the health needs of your pets. These typically include general wellness examinations to assess your pet's overall health, vaccinations to protect against common diseases, and parasite prevention to keep your animals free from fleas, ticks, and other harmful parasites. Additionally, the hospital would likely provide medical care for sick or injured animals, offering diagnostic services to determine the cause of illness and develop appropriate treatment plans.

One positive feature highlighted in the reviews is the knowledge of Dr. Hover. A customer specifically mentioned Dr. Hover's expertise, indicating that the veterinary care provided is based on sound medical understanding. This is a crucial aspect of any veterinary practice, as it assures pet owners that their animals are being treated by a knowledgeable professional. The friendly and kind demeanor of the veterinary assistant further contributes to a positive patient and owner experience.

However, it is important to address a significant negative review that raises concerns about the hospital's communication and handling of a specific case. This review details an experience where a domesticated house cat, brought in for assistance, was allegedly labeled as "feral" after reacting to being examined. The reviewer expressed disappointment with the perceived lack of professionalism and the impact the visit had on their cat's behavior. This feedback suggests a potential issue with communication, pet handling, or the assessment of an animal's temperament under stress. It is crucial for Almond Veterinary Hospital to address such concerns to maintain the trust and confidence of the community.

The contrasting reviews present a mixed picture of Almond Veterinary Hospital. While some customers have experienced friendly and knowledgeable service, as in the positive feedback regarding Dr. Hover and the staff, the negative review indicates a potential for significant issues in communication and patient handling. It is important for prospective clients to consider both aspects when making decisions about their pet's care. Almond Veterinary Hospital may benefit from addressing the concerns raised in the negative review to ensure consistent and positive experiences for all pet owners.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. In conclusion, Almond Veterinary Hospital in Almond, NY, offers veterinary services to the local community. While some customers have reported positive experiences with knowledgeable veterinarians and friendly staff, a significant negative review highlights potential concerns regarding communication and pet handling. Local users are encouraged to consider all available feedback and contact the hospital directly to discuss their pet's specific needs and any questions they may have. Addressing the issues raised in the negative review would be crucial for Almond Veterinary Hospital to ensure consistent quality of care and maintain a positive reputation within the community. Normally when it comes to local businesses, I try to be open minded and give them a second chance. This business will not receive that grace. You mean to tell me that we needed help with our cat, and you tell us that we need to 1, pick her up NOW, 2, find a different vet, and 3, she's feral. she is a domesticated house cat we have had for a year from a local humane society. she is the sweetest cat. you poke and prod her and she reacts, and suddenly she is feral? This is extremely unprofessional. Fur-babies are an important part of people's lives and finding people to help them is imperative. But the service and communication here was abysmal. Never in my life have I heard the term "feral" used to describe a domesticated cat who loves cuddles, and has been socialized since she was a baby. Months after the incident, she hasn’t been the same. If only animals could talk so we would know what happened, but she’s not the same cat she used to be. Disappointed is an understatement.

Family-friendly veterinarian! From the receptionist to the vet assistant to the vet himself, we felt very welcomed. They gave my sweet Misstea puppy a good, healthy start.

We love them here and Caroll is the best. And the rest of the staff is always lovely too! they always treat our babies so well 💗 we still take our part time doggo there as she gets frequent ear infections even though we have several closer vets and when our pup fell down the stairs last night and got hurt they got her in immediately this am. My heart hurts for our baby but we know she's in good hands.
