This practice is probably my favorite, and we have been to many vet offices over the years, even overseas as a military family. The amount of empathy from the entire staff is something you cannot easily find when it comes to caring for your furbabies. Leading up to our farewell with our sweet boy, they were able to accommodate countless appointments last minute, always answer the phone, along with all my tedious questions. Dr Garza and all the wonderful vet techs (who are so easy to talk to) will treat your babies like their own, getting right down on the floor with you to address any and all concerns. Even the front desk staff are wonderful. Thank you for making such a difficult time in our lives a little easier. I’m so glad our newest stray pup we took in will still be under your care moving forward. Keep doing what you do, y’all.

Recently decided to try a new vet for my pup. She was struggling with a lot of allergies due to the recent weather that was getting out of control and she was starting to develop infections due to all the licking and scratching. The staff was great and Doctor Garza was amazing and patient with my pup. Also, when I was on my way to buy the medicines at Costco, I realized I had lost the prescription and called the vet. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful and quickly called Costco so that I wouldn't have to wait for ever to get the medicines. Wonderful service and will definitely be returning to take the rest of my pups.

I've been in need of a new vet. For my service baby. I think I hit the jackpot. The whole staff was just amazing and truly cared. I really appreciated how the doctor took the time to listen to what I had to say and gave me sound advice on things I need to do and prepare for in the future. I also really love the fact that he wasn't trying to push me into unnecessary expenses. He gave me the option to decide on what is best for my baby. I look forward to having a great relationship with this vet clinic. Thank you so very much to all the staff for making feel welcomed and comfortable.

I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Garza and Chris at Alamo Area Veterinary Clinic for their exceptional care of my pup, Ace, during my visit today. They were thorough, kind, and helpful despite a busy schedule, which included emergencies that understandably caused delays. My appointment was at 9:30 AM, and I didn’t leave until around 11:45 AM. Given that today was an early pickup day for my kids, the delay was challenging on my end, but I appreciate the team’s dedication to all their patients. However, I feel compelled to address an issue I experienced with Erin at the front desk. While I understand that everyone may have a lot going on, her behavior was disrespectful and unprofessional. It’s important to treat everyone with respect, regardless of who they are. The dismissive attitude, inappropriate gestures, and lack of helpfulness I encountered were unacceptable. Telling me to leave my animal there and saying, I can’t get your animal he is in a room and reacting with frustration instead of support was frustrating and disappointing. This experience has made me think twice. While I truly appreciate the care provided by the veterinary staff, I believe front-desk interactions are just as important, as they set the tone for the entire visit. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed so future experiences are more positive for everyone.

Dr Baker and Dr Garza are wonderful! They have taken such wonderful care of our pup, Yona! Yona enjoys going to see everyone there! The ladies at the front desk are extremely friendly and helpful!! I highly recommend to anyone who needs loving care for their family pets.
