Airport Veterinary Clinic USDA Accreditated Veterinarian Class 2 All Animals. Introduce

Welcome to Airport Veterinary Clinic, located at 14636 Military Rd S, Tukwila, WA 98168, USA. As a USDA accredited veterinarian (Class 2, All Animals), this clinic offers services that may include facilitating the necessary health certifications for animal travel, in addition to general veterinary care.

Based on the available reviews, experiences with the environment and handling at Airport Veterinary Clinic appear to vary. One customer appreciated the caring and helpful approach of Dr. Sidhu and the staff in preparing their dog for international travel. However, another reviewer described the office as having a strong urine odor and expressed concerns about the animal handling, particularly with a senior chihuahua being held by the armpits. This suggests that while some pet owners have had positive experiences, others have noted issues with the clinic's environment and handling practices.

Airport Veterinary Clinic offers services that include USDA accreditation for animal travel, as indicated in their name. This suggests they can assist with the necessary health documents and examinations required for pets traveling internationally. One customer specifically mentioned receiving help with preparations for a trip to Colombia. However, another review raised concerns about potential overcharging for unnecessary vaccinations, a missed diagnosis of arthritis in a senior dog, recommendations for anesthesia for routine procedures on an elderly dog, and difficulties in obtaining pet records. These contrasting accounts suggest that while the clinic offers certain specialized services like travel accreditation, experiences with general veterinary care may vary.

Customer reviews for Airport Veterinary Clinic present a mixed perspective. One client highly recommends Dr. Sidhu and the clinic for their caring and helpful service, particularly in the context of international pet travel. In contrast, another reviewer detailed several negative experiences, including alleged overcharging for vaccinations, questionable animal handling, a missed diagnosis, concerns about unnecessary anesthesia recommendations for a senior pet, a strong urine odor in the office, and difficulties with pet records. This reviewer explicitly advised others to research and seek care elsewhere if things seem off. The stark contrast in these experiences suggests that while some pet owners may find the clinic helpful, particularly for USDA-related services, others have encountered significant issues with the quality of general veterinary care and customer service.

Given these varied experiences, local users considering Airport Veterinary Clinic are encouraged to contact them directly at (206) 243-7777 or mobile phone +1 206-243-7777 to discuss their specific needs and to ask detailed questions about their services, fees, animal handling procedures, and record-keeping practices. If you are seeking USDA accreditation for pet travel, inquire specifically about their processes and requirements. For general veterinary care, it may be prudent to seek a second opinion, especially for significant health concerns or before agreeing to major procedures.

Dr. Sidhu was kind during our visit. However, she poked my sibling with a needle, overcharged us by $500 for vaccinations we did not need (we received a quote from another vet 2 weeks later), and the assistant held our 23 year old chihuahua out in the air, by the armpits because she "didn't want her nice clothes to get peed on". We went to another vet 2 weeks later & their exam revealed our dog had arthritis; this was not found during the initial exam at Airport Vet. They lost our old records and refused to send the current records over to our new vet. The vet was recommending anesthesia for a 23 yr old dog for nail clipping & blood work that wasn't needed as, despite her age, our dog received a clean bill of health from her new vet. Lastly, the office smells strongly of urine. Our dog was nervous and moving during the visit, but the vet and the vet assistant's animal handling left alot to be desired. We took our dog to another vet where they were able to complete her exam without any issues; she was even wagging her tail the whole time. We met someone in the community who's also used Airport Vet and they reported a similar experience where anesthesia was being recommended for a very young puppy even though it was not necessary; by researching independently, we found that this can be really risky for old/young animals. **Edit after owner response: you charged us $800 total for subcu fluids, vaccinations, & dewormer. These were not necessary for our dog, per the new vet/exam we received 2 weeks later. Anesthesia should not have been pushed for a dog that age, especially one who didn't need it. Our dog doesn't have teeth & is 9lbs, wiggling around because she was scared of the way you guys were handling her is hardly a safety issue for you & your staff. The final straw was my sibling being stabbed with the needle while you were trying to do subcutaneous fluids; in my almost decade of fostering/owning dogs/cats who've needed subcu fluids, I've never had that happen. I stand by my review and hope others will do their research and seek care elsewhere when things seem off, for their safety and their pets.

SO UNPROFESSIONAL: We went to this clinic and i talk to doctor myself and even assistance about how much you guy’s going to charge and she said 700 max for both kittens and when they did all the vaccines and surgery for 1 she charged us 1,200 dollars for both she doubled the price and add more things like she is in heat . She was not in heat she was 5 months old. THEY CHARGE PEOPLE OVER PRICED WHAT THEY QUOTE FOR SO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. RIPPING PEOPLE OF BECAUSE THEY WILL. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SPAYED HERE OR OTHER VISITS.

They fit us in an hour after we called on a Sunday to see our cat for an eye injury. Dr. Sidhu was super kind and professional. She explained everything clearly and quickly treated our cat for the scratch on her eye. Directions for care at home were clear and everyone took the time to explain things to us. The tech (I'm sorry I forgot your name!!) was great assisting during a procedure and super knowledgeable. Thank y'all for helping our little girl on such short notice!

Dr.Sidhu is amazing!! The front desk lady is also awesome. I have been bringing my cats here for the past year and I always have good service and all the stresses of bringing a pet in for an emergency is eased. One of the most amazing vet places ever !
