5280 Veterinary Care

My dog Cheese is comfortable here so we keep coming back! Very knowledgeable and kind team. They communicate well, and work fast to get what they need to service you! They truly care about their clients, and making the process easy. Great location, there’s always street parking available Prices seem high but, I think it’s because you’re not on a payment plan like VetCo or Banfield .. everything is pretty upfront and you can always ask for pricing before your arrival. The team is very transparent! I like that. Clean facility, there’s snacks for the humans too (free) ! lol .. but that’s awesome So many good things to say.. we have been coming here frequently for a year or more and no complaints yet

**Please know I truly did love this place, so much that my friend and I brought all our dogs here, I am sad it’s corporate. I’m sure the records say whatever they need to reflect that your office isn’t negligible** This place works for some but my dog suffered. It’s corporate, my dog was never seen by the same vet when we brought him in. Long story short the revolving door of different providers led to undiagnosed thyroid disease. I’m glad I left, other pet owners should know. Vet care has changed, corporations come in and buy up these clinics out and then pets suffer. Mine did. He was weighed every time he went in, even at his siblings appointments and somehow still got missed. Corporate. ** I loved this place before, even put down my senior basset hound with them, and my best friends old bully. We really trusted them and I’m so sad to see that really, it’s subpar care. Find a vet that always sees your pet.

We live in the neighborhood and have taken both of our dogs to 5280 since we adopted Miguel 3 years ago and now our baby Bowie too. The staff has always been very friendly, efficient and attentive. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone and have referred a lot of folks to them!

I've been bringing my dogs here for 5 years. Dr. Leach and her team genuinely care about their patients and will take care of your babies. They're open late, until 8 pm a couple days of the week! So convenient. They all work so hard and I'm so glad to have them in the neighborhood.

Brought my dog here for a checkup while traveling. He ended up needing surgery so we came back a few more times. We had a great experience all around. The staff are informative, kind, and everything went smoothly.
