Three Forks Off-Leash Dog Park is more than just a dog park; it's a vital community resource and a beloved natural area for both canine companions and their human counterparts. Situated at the confluence of the North, South, and Middle Forks of the Snoqualmie River, this park is part of the larger Three Forks Natural Area, dedicated to preserving fish and wildlife habitat. The dog park itself spans an impressive eight acres of mowed, open space, providing ample room for dogs of all sizes to exercise and interact. It’s a place where dogs can truly stretch their legs, chase balls, and make new friends in a safe and stimulating environment. Many visitors rave about the breathtaking scenery, with jaw-dropping views of Mount Si, making it a delightful experience not just for your pup, but for you too. You might even spot some local wildlife, with one fortunate visitor even encountering a swimming raccoon affectionately named "Bandit"! Whether you’re seeking an energetic outing for your canine athlete or a peaceful stroll in nature, Three Forks Off-Leash Dog Park offers an unparalleled experience.
Three Forks Off-Leash Dog Park is conveniently located in Snoqualmie, Washington, making it easily accessible for residents across the King County area and beyond. The address for this wonderful park is Snoqualmie, WA 98065, USA. More specifically, you can find it at 39903 SE Park St, Snoqualmie, Washington, 98065. Its proximity to major routes, including Interstate 90, means it's a great choice for a quick detour during road trips or a planned outing for local families. While the park offers a dedicated parking lot, it’s worth noting that it can be a bit small and may fill up quickly on busier days. However, the ease of access and the immense enjoyment the park provides far outweigh any minor parking considerations. The park is often described as being directly on the slough, offering unique water access for adventurous pups. The park is typically open 24 hours a day, Monday through Sunday, offering flexibility for visits at any time that suits your schedule.
While a dog park focuses primarily on providing open space for off-leash play, Three Forks Off-Leash Dog Park offers several amenities that enhance the experience for both dogs and their owners. Based on public information and visitor reviews, here are some of the key services and facilities you can expect:
- Expansive Off-Leash Area: Eight acres of mowed, open space dedicated to off-leash dog play.
- Water Access for Dogs: There are reports of fresh water sources and even a dedicated faucet for watering dogs, along with extra water dishes. This is a crucial amenity for keeping your pets hydrated during their playtime.
- Picnic Areas and Tables: Scattered throughout the park, these provide comfortable spots for owners to relax and supervise their dogs.
- Benches: Numerous benches are available for resting and observing the lively canine activity.
- Trash Cans: Conveniently located for easy disposal of pet waste, encouraging responsible pet ownership.
- Partially Fenced Area: The park is largely fenced, providing a secure environment for dogs to roam, though some areas may have natural boundaries like thick berry bushes. Some recent reviews suggest it is now largely or fully fenced, which is a great improvement for dog safety.
- Soft-Surface Walking Path: A dirt path around the perimeter of the park allows humans to stretch their legs while their dogs play.
- Access to Snoqualmie Valley Regional Trail: For those who enjoy longer walks or bike rides, the park offers convenient access to this scenic regional trail, though dogs must be leashed on the trail itself.
Three Forks Off-Leash Dog Park truly stands out due to its unique features and memorable highlights that contribute to its popularity:

- Ample Space for Play: The sheer size of the park (eight acres of mowed open space) means dogs have plenty of room to run, sprint, and engage in vigorous play without feeling crowded. This helps reduce potential conflicts among dogs.
- Natural Environment: Beyond the mowed fields, the park is set within the broader Three Forks Natural Area, featuring riverine, riparian, and wetland habitats. This provides a sense of being truly immersed in nature.
- Wildlife Sightings: As noted by a visitor, you might be lucky enough to spot cool birds or even a swimming raccoon, adding an element of surprise and delight to your visit.
- Community Hub: The park fosters a sense of community among local dog owners, providing a place for pets and people to socialize and connect.

Mar 14, 2025 · Allison BBeautiful park with amazing mountain views. It's a fully fenced, large open field with plenty of space to hang out, toss the ball and let the dogs play. The parking lot is pretty small, so parking may be an issue on busier days. There is no restroom. Other than that, I am looking forward to bringing our dogs here again.
Apr 21, 2024 · Ola BelmonteExcellent place for off-leash dog play. Fenced, large open grassy area with a walking trail all the way around. Water & dog dishes available. Some shaded areas, benches to sit & watch. Limited parking, room for about 7 cars. Double-gated entry off the parking area, another single gate allows access to trails along the river and river access.
Apr 26, 2025 · Owen O'NealA great dog park with an awesome view: it's quiet and big enough that it's easy to relax without worrying about other dogs/groups. As a tourist, I can't believe it wasn't mentioned in more dog friendly guides or lists of must see stuff. We found it when searching for something stress-free for our dog near Snoqualmie Falls. It's pretty enough to recommend even if you're not tying it to another activity. It has multiple entries. The parking lot is small, shaded and easy to get in. In addition to a couple internal areas with large trees, the exterior is lined with forest, so there's almost always going to be shade. There's also a dirt walking path along the outer edge of the park. The only negative we encountered were droppings by something other than a dog (deer or elk possibly); however, they were easy to avoid using the path.
