Services Offered

The Rob Stuart Memorial Dog Park is designed to provide comprehensive services for off-leash dog play and owner comfort:

  • Separate Play Areas: The park features two distinct, fenced-off areas: one designated for small dogs and another for large dogs. This crucial separation helps ensure the safety and comfort of all canine visitors, allowing them to play with appropriate companions.

  • Off-Leash Freedom: The primary service is a secure, enclosed space where dogs can run freely, chase balls, and interact with other dogs without the constraint of a leash. This is vital for their physical and mental well-being in an urban environment.

  • Drinking Fountains: The park is equipped with drinking fountains for both humans and dogs, ensuring that pups can stay hydrated, especially during warmer weather or after vigorous play.

  • Benches and Seating: Owners can find benches throughout the park, providing comfortable spots to sit, relax, and supervise their dogs. This also encourages social interaction and community building among pet parents.

  • Waste Stations: To maintain cleanliness, the park provides waste barrels equipped with scoopers or dog waste bag dispensers, encouraging responsible waste management by owners.

  • Dedicated Small and Large Dog Areas: The clear separation of play spaces for dogs of different sizes is a major benefit, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable experience for all users.

  • Well-Maintained Environment: Reviews consistently commend the park for being "always so clean and well maintained," which speaks to effective management and community cooperation in keeping the space pristine.

  • Opportunity for "Action Shots": The park's layout and maintenance make it a great spot for owners to capture dynamic photos of their dogs at play, as one reviewer noted.

Well, at first, I drove past the park ~ I had three babies with me. One of my fur babies did not like the astro turf (that lasted 5 minutes). The little pool was awesome. The grounds were well maintained. The people were friendly. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Really a great experience.
