- Fenced Off-Leash Play Areas: The core service is providing secure, fenced enclosures where dogs can safely run and play off-leash, fulfilling their need for extensive exercise and socialization.
- Separate Area for Small Dogs: To ensure the comfort and safety of all canine visitors, Riley's Run features a dedicated, smaller play area specifically for small dogs. This thoughtful separation helps prevent potential conflicts and allows smaller or more timid dogs to play without being overwhelmed.
- Ample Space for Play: The park offers "a lot of space to play catch with your dog and walking around," as noted by reviewers, ensuring that even during busy times, dogs have room to roam.
- Dog Water Fountain: A vital amenity, the park includes a water fountain specifically for dogs, ensuring they stay hydrated during playtime. (Note: One past review mentioned it was not operating due to COVID, but this would likely be a temporary situation, and it's an intended service.)
- Waste Disposal Stations: To maintain cleanliness, the park provides waste bag dispensers and receptacles, encouraging responsible pet ownership and ensuring a pleasant environment for all users.
- Permit System for Access: To participate in the off-leash portion of the park, a current permit for each dog is required. This system helps ensure that all dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations and contributes to the overall health and safety of the park.
- Regular Maintenance: The Bartlett Park District is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and upkeep, ensuring the park remains "really nice and clean," as noted by visitors.
Riley's Run Dog Park stands out with several key features and highlights that make it a favorite destination for dog owners in Bartlett, IL:

- Spacious Off-Leash Areas: The park provides "a lot of space to play catch with your dog and walking around," offering ample room for energetic dogs to run, chase, and explore without feeling confined.
- Dedicated Small Dog Area: A significant highlight is the separate, smaller play area specifically designed for smaller dogs. This thoughtful feature caters to the needs of different dog sizes and temperaments, promoting safer and more comfortable interactions.

- Water Fountain for Dogs: The availability of a water fountain specifically for dogs is a crucial amenity, especially during warmer months, ensuring pups stay hydrated during active play. (While noted as temporarily off due to COVID in a past review, this is a standard feature.)
- Community Atmosphere: Although not explicitly stated in provided reviews, parks of this caliber often foster a friendly and welcoming community among regular visitors, enhancing the social experience for both dogs and owners.
As a public facility managed by the Bartlett Park District, Riley's Run Dog Park does not offer traditional commercial "promotions" or "special offers" like sales or discounts. Instead, its primary value proposition and a form of "offer" is the provision of a high-quality, well-maintained off-leash dog area to its community.
Access to the off-leash dog park at Riley's Run requires a current permit for each dog. This permit system is a standard practice for many park districts to ensure safety, fund maintenance, and verify vaccinations. The Bartlett Park District outlines its permit requirements and fees, which are subject to change. Typically, these permits are issued annually and require proof of current vaccinations (like rabies) and potentially a dog license.
Key aspects regarding permits that can be considered the "offerings" for usage:
- Required Permit: To utilize the off-leash portion of Riley's Run Dog Park, dog owners MUST have a current permit for each dog. This is a crucial aspect of access.
- Permit Expiration: Permits for Riley's Run Dog Park typically expire one year from the date of issue.
- Replacement Fee: A replacement fee (e.g., $5.00) is usually charged for lost permits.
- Rules and Regulations: Permit holders are responsible for adhering to the park's rules and regulations. Violations can result in fines and/or loss of park privileges without a refund, emphasizing responsible use.
- Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable: Permit fees are generally non-refundable and permits are non-transferable, meaning they are specific to the registered dog(s).
While there aren't "buy one get one free" deals, the value comes from the well-managed and safe environment provided through the permit system. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on permit fees, application processes, and any specific requirements, residents should always consult the official Bartlett Park District website or contact them directly. The "offer" is consistent access to a premier dog park that adheres to safety and cleanliness standards for the benefit of all users.

Apr 06, 2021 · Moises TinocoVery nice park to take your kids or play some basketball or tennis. Dog park is nice and open and it's very well kept. Highly recommend spending an afternoon here!
Jun 12, 2024 · Tyler WilsonI don't have a dog but from what I see it has a umbrella for some nice shade it has lots of space and from the dogs that I've seen more space than the dogs use or need so there is probably more than enough space for your dog(s). It has a drinking fountain that also has a fountain for dogs to drink from which is definitely a plus. (the drinking fountain is off during the winter and currently due to the corona virus) What is also good in principle is that there are 2 fenced of areas once for small dogs and one for larger dogs but I've seen many people with what I would consider a larger dog go into the smaller dog area with their dog. There are also some hoops and fire hydrants in the dog park for the dogs to play with but I never saw any dog use them. As can be seen on the map there is a tennis court and a playground close by which can be something for family/friends to do while your watching your dog.
Jun 29, 2020 · Suntje SchubertThere are two sections of the dog park, one for big dogs and one for small dogs. They are connected by one fence side though. Very small basketball court and one tennis court with a fence that doesn't close. Playground is an ok size for kids. Generally a very small park, but has a little bit of grass to run around in
