Promotions or Special Offers

As a public park managed by the East Bay Regional Park District, Point Isabel Dog Park does not typically offer commercial "promotions" or "special offers" in the retail sense. However, the Point Isabel Dog Owners and Friends (PIDO) organization, a dedicated non-profit, regularly hosts community events and activities that can be considered valuable "special offers" for park users. These include:

  • Off-Leash Skills 101 Sessions: Free sessions with a professional trainer to help owners and pets hone their off-leash dog walking skills and emergency recall commands. These are incredibly valuable for responsible dog ownership in an off-leash park.
  • Canine Good Citizen Testing: PIDO sponsors annual testing and accreditation for dogs, promoting responsible and well-behaved pets.
  • Barktoberfest: A popular annual dog costume contest and parade held around Halloween, providing a fun and festive community gathering.
  • Cleanup Days and Volunteer Work Parties: Opportunities for community members to contribute to the park's maintenance and upkeep, fostering a sense of shared responsibility.

I love this park and so does my dog! If it wasn鈥檛 for the sand spurs tangled in his coat, it would be straight up perfect. Magnificent views of San Francisco, the Bay Bridge and Golden Gate, off-leash dog walking, other friendly and attentive dog owners. Visit here! It鈥檚 worth the trip.

Fairly nice dog park. As usual, entitled folks who do not pick after their dogs are also probably too "special" to read the rules. It's a bit of a wild west, some dogs are not socialized but it's not a dog's fault.

This place is amazing and I am so glad I found it. My puppy loved it, I loved it. There鈥檚 an awesome cafe and dog groomer on available when you鈥檙e walking in or leaving to the parking area which is great for a coffee before hand and then if your pup gets dirty playing or just needs a bath, you can get that done before heading home with your fur ball. There is a TON of space, lots of unleashed dogs and just overall this place was heavenly. We didn鈥檛 come across any unfriendly dogs, we played catch with his ball, we people watched, he chased dogs around and rough housed with them a bit. I will def be back!
