Services Offered
  • Separate Fenced Play Areas: Pinnacle Dog Park is thoughtfully designed with three distinct, fully fenced areas. Typically, two sections are open for use at a time – one specifically designated for large dogs and another for small dogs. This crucial separation helps ensure a safer and more comfortable play environment for all canines, allowing smaller breeds to play without intimidation and larger dogs to romp freely. The third section rotates, allowing for maintenance and turf recovery, ensuring the park remains in excellent condition.
  • Water Fountains: Essential in the Arizona climate, the park provides dog-friendly drinking fountains, ensuring that your furry friend has access to fresh water to stay hydrated during their playtime.
  • Shaded Seating: For the comfort of human companions, the park offers benches and dedicated shade structures. These provide a welcome respite from the sun, allowing owners to relax and supervise their dogs comfortably, even on warm Arizona days.
  • Restrooms: Visitors have access to clean and well-maintained restroom facilities, a crucial amenity for extended stays at the park.
  • Waste Disposal Stations: The park is equipped with mutt mitt dispensers and waste receptacles, encouraging and facilitating responsible pet waste disposal. This contributes significantly to the park's overall cleanliness and hygiene.
  • LED Lighting: The park features LED lighting, allowing for safe and enjoyable evening visits. This is a major advantage during Arizona's hot summers when cooler evening hours are preferred for outdoor activities.

Features / Highlights
  • Spacious 3-Acre Layout: Pinnacle Dog Park is a large and expansive facility, covering three acres. This considerable size provides ample room for dogs to run, play, and explore, preventing overcrowding even during busy times and ensuring plenty of space for vigorous exercise.
  • Well-Maintained Turf and Decomposed Granite Surfaces: The park features a combination of turf and decomposed granite surfaces. The inclusion of turf provides a soft, comfortable, and natural feel for dogs, while the decomposed granite areas offer durability and good drainage, contributing to the park's overall excellent condition.
  • Community of Friendly Dog Owners: A consistent highlight from reviews is the friendly and caring community of dog owners who frequent the park. This positive atmosphere fosters good socialization among dogs and pleasant interactions among humans, making it a welcoming place for regulars and newcomers alike.
  • Strategic Rotation of Play Areas: The use of a third, rotating section for maintenance helps preserve the quality of the turf and decomposed granite, ensuring that the active play areas are consistently well-maintained and clean.
  • ADA Accessible: The park is fully ADA accessible, with features like accessible restrooms and wide pathways, ensuring that it is inclusive for all members of the community, including those with mobility challenges.
  • Proximity to Trails: The option to walk along nearby trails if the dog park is temporarily closed or for additional exercise provides a versatile recreational experience.
  • Excellent Lighting for Evening Use: The presence of LED lighting allows for safe and convenient visits during the cooler evening hours, extending the usability of the park throughout the day.
  • Quiet and Enjoyable Ambiance: Despite its popularity, the park maintains a generally quiet and enjoyable ambiance, providing a peaceful setting for dogs and owners to relax and play.

Small but well maintained. Very friendly people that bring their dogs to play. There is a small dog area and large along with a third to rotate, keeping the property nice...if the park is closed, there is an option to walk along some trails. Restrooms available.

Pretty devastated because I come here every morning with my dog and this morning the only place she went was the dog park and a few hours later she was lethargic and having trouble walking. After a visit to the emergency vet we found out she most likely ingested marijuana around the time we were at the dog park. I see cigarette butts all the time and have been nervous about them but keep an eye out. Unfortunately I just can’t take that risk again. The dog owners I met here are great and were always watchful of their dogs and for the most part I felt like the park was clean but please watch out for cigarette or marijuana remnants if you do choose to bring your dog here.

Came first thing, 05:30. With 3 areas for play, 1 shut for maintenance. Each area has ample lighting. 2 bench seating around the outer side of each area with 2 more bench's under a lighted gazebo. There are water fountains in each area for you and your fur baby with water bowls provided for your pup to use!! The restrooms are CLEAN but not right next to play areas (Other side of the property and parking lot) WELL WORTH THE VISIT ANY TIME OF DAY OR NIGHT!!! Downside: not all follow rules regarding picking up after there pet. Shame on them!!

The dogs loved running on the new wet turf and the added bonus of playing in the monsoon made pond from last night's storm. Great park with friendly people who watch their dogs and mostly clean up after them.
