Great park to let your dog run around! Two areas separated by chainlink fence and each side has a big tree to provide some shade, a water bowl, and benches. Unfortunately the city doesn’t provide poop bags or cut the grass on a regular basis, so it does get overgrown at times and makes it difficult to actually find the poop in the tall grass.

Location and Accessibility
Pet Village Bark Park is conveniently located at ATTN: Tullahoma Parks and Rec, 1300 E Carroll St, Tullahoma, TN 37388, USA. This address places it squarely within the expansive Waggoner Memorial Park, a significant recreational area for the Tullahoma community. Being part of a larger park system often means easy access and good infrastructure, and Pet Village Bark Park is no exception.
Getting to the park is generally straightforward for local residents. The park's address is easily navigable using GPS, and once you arrive at Waggoner Memorial Park, the dog park itself is typically well-signed or can be found with a little exploration. Ample free parking is usually available nearby within the larger park complex, making it convenient for visitors to arrive, park, and quickly access the dog park. Its integration into a larger community park also means it’s likely to be well-maintained by the city's Parks and Recreation department, although specific maintenance schedules for grass cutting and amenities can vary.
Services Offered
While Pet Village Bark Park focuses on providing a safe and stimulating environment for off-leash play, it does offer several key services and amenities that enhance the experience for both dogs and their owners.
- Dual-Area Separation: One of the most appreciated features is the division of the park into two separate areas by a chainlink fence. This typically allows for the separation of larger dogs from smaller or more timid dogs, ensuring a safer and more comfortable play environment for all.
- Shade Provision: Each of the two separated areas boasts a big tree, providing valuable shade. This is a crucial amenity, especially during Tennessee's warmer months, offering a cool respite for dogs and owners alike.
- Water Bowls/Fountains: Hydration is key for active dogs, and the park provides water bowls or access to a water fountain. While it's always a good idea to bring your own water, this amenity is a helpful addition for keeping your pups quenched.
- Benches: For dog owners, benches are available in both sections of the park, offering a comfortable place to sit, relax, and supervise their dogs during playtime.
- Fully Fenced: The entire bark park area is fully fenced, providing a secure space for dogs to run and play off-leash without the worry of them wandering too far or encountering unexpected hazards.
- Double-Gated Entrance: To enhance security and prevent accidental escapes, the park features a double-gated entrance. This allows for a safe entry and exit point, minimizing the risk of dogs slipping out.
Features / Highlights
Pet Village Bark Park stands out with several features that contribute to its popularity among Tullahoma's dog-owning community.
- Tailored Play Zones: The clear separation into two distinct play areas is a significant highlight. This thoughtful design caters to the varying energy levels and play styles of different dog sizes, reducing potential conflicts and allowing for more enjoyable interactions.
- Natural Shade and Comfort: The presence of large trees offering natural shade is a highly valued feature. It makes the park more comfortable for use during sunny days, promoting longer, safer play sessions for dogs and a more pleasant experience for their owners.
- Commitment to Hydration: Providing water access within the park demonstrates a commitment to the well-being of visiting dogs. It’s a simple yet essential amenity that ensures pets stay hydrated during active play.
- Secure and Safe Environment: The combination of a fully fenced perimeter and a double-gated entrance creates a secure environment. This allows owners peace of mind as their dogs explore and interact off-leash, which is paramount for any successful dog park.
- Community Integration: Being part of Waggoner Memorial Park means users of the dog park also benefit from the overall amenities of the larger park, such as walking trails nearby (though dogs should be leashed outside the bark park) and other recreational facilities, making it a hub for outdoor activity.
- Free Entry and Parking: The park boasts free parking nearby and free entry, making it an accessible and budget-friendly option for regular visits. This encourages more frequent use by the local community.
Promotions or Special Offers
As a public amenity operated by the Tullahoma Parks and Recreation department, Pet Village Bark Park typically does not offer specific "promotions" or "special offers" in the commercial sense. Access to the park is generally free for all users. However, the value of the park lies in its consistent availability and the free, safe space it provides for canine exercise and socialization.
Occasionally, the Tullahoma Parks and Recreation department might host community events or initiatives within Waggoner Memorial Park that could be of interest to dog owners, such as pet adoption drives or pet wellness clinics. It's advisable to check the official Tullahoma Parks and Recreation website or their social media channels for any announcements regarding events that might be relevant to the dog park community. While there aren't discounts on entry (since it's free), these types of community events can add value to your visits.

Jul 13, 2024 · Lauren MendezIt was rainy so we didn't stay long and there weren't any other pups. We'll be back though. Grateful to have a cute little park to go visit from time to time.
May 07, 2025 · Bloom BloomVery nice dog park. Friendly dogs and owners.
Jun 03, 2025 · Bobbi Jo TibbsWe stopped there to have lunch after taking the boys (2 30lb mixed breeds) to Rutledge Falls. The only thing that would make ANY dog park better would be to have a picnic table either in the park or next to the the fence outside. That way the people can eat while letting the "kids" run around.
Apr 05, 2019 · Deb TinerThe kids love coming here as much as the dogs do. Love the two separate enclosed areas. I have been here when it's busy with 10-15 dogs, all the owners have respect for each other, are friendly, and clean up after their dog. There's always poop bags and rarely do you see any mess in the grass. There is water on site for the dogs and human restrooms within walking distance.
