Good sized fenced-in park. A lap around the perimeter is about a half mile, which is good for walking while your pooch gets their run on. Main play area is a little small but there is a wide path that leads to a second area of about equal size. Lots of trees for shade in the summer. Parking is excellent. Folks in the park were friendly and the pups were generally well behaved. Will visit again.

## Features / Highlights

**Muttland Meadows** is distinguished by several key features and highlights that make it a truly exceptional dog park in Wisconsin, setting it apart from many other facilities.

  • **Expansive Fenced Area with Trails:** One of its most significant highlights is its generous 7-acre size, entirely "fenced-in." This secure perimeter gives owners peace of mind while their dogs enjoy off-leash freedom. Crucially, the park isn't just an open field; it features "trails" and "wooded trails," allowing for more engaging and varied walks within the secure confines. This makes it a "wonderful" park, despite not having "lots of open space" in the traditional sense, due to the thoughtful layout.

  • **Long Perimeter for Human Exercise:** A practical highlight for owners is the park's perimeter, where "a lap around the perimeter is about a half mile." This is "good for walking while your pooch gets their run on," allowing owners to get exercise alongside their dogs.

  • **24/7 Accessibility:** The fact that it's "privately owned so it's open 24/7" is a major convenience. This round-the-clock access allows visitors to come at any time that fits their schedule, from early morning sprints to late-night strolls, a feature not commonly found in public parks.

  • **Abundant Shade:** "Lots of trees for shade in the summer" is a vital amenity, providing comfortable spots for dogs and owners to rest, particularly on sunny or warm days, enhancing the overall comfort and safety of the park.

  • **Excellent Parking:** Visitors consistently note the "excellent" parking, which contributes to a stress-free arrival and departure experience, a small but important detail for park users.

  • **Emphasis on Cleanliness:** The presence of "poop pick up bags and trash cans everywhere" demonstrates a strong commitment to cleanliness and responsible pet ownership, making it easy for users to maintain a pleasant environment for all.

## Promotions or Special Offers

**Muttland Meadows** operates under a unique model as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This means it doesn't offer traditional "promotions" or "special offers" like discounts on entry fees because, in a significant way, its very existence and accessibility are its primary "offers" to the community.

Here's how its operational model functions as a benefit and what you might consider its ongoing "special offers":

  • **Free Entry (Donation-Based):** The park exists "solely on donations from its visitors for funding." This means there's no mandatory entry fee or annual pass required to access the park. This "free entry" model is a huge benefit, making a high-quality, well-maintained dog park accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial capacity. Visitors are encouraged to donate, and these contributions are "used for maintenance and improvements."

  • **24/7 Access:** As highlighted previously, the park is "open 24/7." This unparalleled access time is a significant "special offer" in itself, providing maximum flexibility for dog owners to visit whenever it suits their schedule, unlike most public parks with fixed hours.

  • **Community-Driven Sustainability:** The park's reliance on "donations and volunteers" means that every contribution, whether financial or through time, directly supports the park. For locals, the opportunity to be part of a community that sustains such a valuable resource can be seen as a rewarding "offer" of involvement and collective ownership. Businesses can also become sponsors with a tax-deductible cost, which includes advertising at the park.

  • **Provision of Supplies:** The availability of "poop pick up bags and trash cans everywhere" can also be considered a valuable "offer," as it saves owners from needing to bring their own bags, adding to the convenience of their visit.

In essence, Muttland Meadows' entire operational philosophy is a continuous "special offer" of a fantastic, accessible, and community-supported dog park experience for the residents of Grafton and the broader Wisconsin area. While you won't see seasonal discounts, the value provided through its non-profit, donation-based model is substantial.

Nice fenced in dog park with trails. This isn't a park with lots of open space but it is wonderful. It's also privately owned so it's open 24/7. There are poop pick up bags and trash cans everywhere making it easy to pick up after your pet.

Great dog park, entry/exit stalls are sturdy and spacious. There is a good mix of terrain with open fields, trails and wooded/brush areas. I have occasionally encountered an unpleasant human here but never an unpleasant dog. It can be challenging to see traffic behind you from the parking area.

Take our small dog here about weekly; it is the highlight of her day! About four acres of varied terrain and Flora. Lots of things to sniff and many nice dogs to play with. Poop bags and waste bins provided if needed, water bowls scattered around. Well maintained paths and conscientiously kept up by dedicated volunteers. Heard a visitor recently exclaim, "I've never been to a nicer dog park!"

Very nice dog park, good trails to walk which is nice since some dog parks a just a small fenced in open field. My dogs love going here. The entire place is very well kept.
