Huge park with plenty of room in the large and small dog sections. Always well maintained and the other people that go there are friendly. They have a little time out fence if you need to separate your pup to get him settled down. Has a playground and bathrooms outside of the park with plenty of parking.

Services Offered

Logan Gate Dog Park is thoughtfully equipped with a range of services and amenities designed to enhance the experience for both canine and human visitors:

  • Separate Fenced Play Areas: The park features two distinct, fully fenced enclosures. One expansive area is dedicated to large dogs, providing ample space for them to run and play vigorously. A separate, equally well-maintained area is available for small dogs, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment where they can socialize without being overwhelmed by larger breeds.
  • Water Fountains: Essential for hydration in Florida's climate, the park provides water fountains for both dogs and humans. While one review noted "only one water fountain for the large dog park," its presence is still a crucial service.
  • Shaded Seating: Recognizing the importance of relief from the Florida sun, the park offers "plenty of places for the humans to sit in shade," ensuring comfort for owners while their dogs play.
  • **"Time Out" Fence:** A unique and highly practical feature is the "little time out fence." This designated area allows owners to temporarily separate their pup if they become overstimulated or need a moment to settle down, promoting a safer and more harmonious environment for all.
  • Waste Bag Dispensers: To encourage responsible pet ownership and maintain the park's cleanliness, waste bag dispensers are typically available. Visitors are always encouraged to bring their own as well, just in case, and to always pick up after their pets.
  • Grassy Play Surfaces: A significant positive highlight is the predominantly "grassy with very little dirt" play areas. This ensures a cleaner play environment for dogs and less mess for owners.
  • On-site Restrooms: Conveniently located just outside the dog park enclosure, dedicated public restrooms are available for visitors.
  • Adjacent Playground: For families with children, the presence of a playground just outside the dog park offers a convenient way to cater to the needs of all family members during a visit.

Visited for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Very spacious, plenty of places for the humans to sit in shade. Only negative is that there is only one water fountain for the large dog park. But met some great people and dogs and my girls are tired out. Will def go back! Plus it was grassy with very little dirt (which is a plus).

Pretty big park. Very spacious for my dog that likes to run long distances. Also had a smaller gated area in the park for dogs that may want/need to play solo. A gate connected the parks for the small and large dogs. It flooded a bit after the storm but hopefully it's something that clears up. This was my first time there so not sure if it normally floods or not

Best Dog Park in Hillsborough County! Big, open grassy fields, plenty of water for the dogs, virtually “poop free” because people clean up after their dogs. Trees were planted for shade as well. There are bathrooms and a kids playground as well. July 2019 - Newly added shelter on the large dog side. Recently added seating in the back for shade for morning visitors

Has two large sections for big and small dogs. Has three shaded bench areas for sitting. Front gate area has a wash off station. There are two small pools for the dogs located at the water fountain. This place is up-kept regularly on Wednesdays. Open to public.
