Services Offered

Hardberger Park - Dog Park (West) is an off-leash dog park, providing a secure and expansive environment for dogs to play and interact. Here are the key services and provisions you can expect:

  • Separate Areas for Small and All Dogs: The park thoughtfully includes distinct fenced sections to cater to different dog sizes. This ensures that smaller, more timid dogs can play safely without being overwhelmed by larger, more boisterous canines, and vice-versa.

Ample trash cans are also provided for convenient disposal, helping to keep the park clean and enjoyable for everyone.

  • Drinking Fountains: Hydration is key, especially in the Texas heat. The park provides water fountains specifically designed for dogs, ensuring your furry friend can quench their thirst during their playtime.

  • Shaded Areas: San Antonio summers can be intense, and the park offers crucial shaded spots, allowing both dogs and their owners to cool down and relax away from direct sunlight. These shaded areas often include stone seating for owners.

Great place to bring your pups! I bring mine to the dog park on my days off to release energy. I always meet kind people and get to enjoy all the dogs at the park. It's nicely shaded, plenty of spare doggie bags for clean up and stone seating. Our favorite dog park!

Our dogs had a good time yesterday. This park has a large and small dog section and a restriom close by. And it sports a couple of climbing ramps. Lots of tennis balls lying around too.
