Promotions or Special Offers

As a public facility managed by the City of Fontana, Fontana Dog Park does not typically offer commercial promotions or special discounts for entry, as access is generally free to the public. The primary "offer" is the provision of a high-quality, well-maintained, and freely accessible off-leash environment for dogs and their owners.

However, the City of Fontana’s Community Services Department frequently organizes events and programs that can indirectly benefit dog park users and the broader pet-owning community. For example, the City of Fontana hosts an "Affordable Pet Vaccine Event" at the Fontana Dog Park (specifically at the Jessie Turner Center located by the dog park) on select dates each month. These clinics offer low-cost vaccinations, microchipping, flea control, and other services. Additionally, the city has hosted events like "Halloween Howl," where dog owners can dress up their dogs in spooky costumes. While these are not direct park "promotions," they add significant value and engagement for local dog owners. To stay informed about upcoming pet clinics, community events, or any temporary park closures for maintenance, it is highly recommended that locals check the official City of Fontana website's Community Services or Parks and Recreation sections, or their event calendar. The consistent provision of such valuable community resources, in addition to free park access, serves as a significant ongoing benefit to the residents of Fontana.

Great local dog park! Clean, well-maintained, and perfect for letting my pup run off-leash. Love the separate areas for big and small dogs. Could use more shade, but overall a great spot!

I like this dog park it’s in a nice area and all the dogs that were there were nice and well behaved.there are 2 parts one park for small dogs which is really really small and the other side for big dogs but everyone just goes to the big dog park.the fences on the big dog park side should be taller because there only about 4 feet tall and they should put up signs for the entrances and exits.they have a few small obstacles and a drinking fountain and a poop bag station with some benches.

The Fontana Dog Park is in a developing community of N. Fontana (1⭐). Lots of new homes. The adjacent park for people has long sidewalks, a trail, and aquatic center (1⭐). Now, I understand it's a dog park, but is there suppose to be so much dog poop everywhere? I wasn't happy to see a dirt lot and two dried up trees for the small breed area (-1⭐). There are electrical towers that are so close, you can hear the electricity sizzling through the power lines (-1⭐). Then there are the gopher holes, around the perimeter of the dog park, and in the dog park itself (-1⭐). Too bad. This park has potential, but it definitely needs some TLC.
