Services Offered
-
Off-Leash Play Zones: The primary service offered is a designated, fully fenced area where dogs are permitted to run, play, and socialize freely off-leash. This provides crucial exercise and mental stimulation for canines.
-
Separate Small and Large Dog Areas: To ensure the safety and comfort of all canine visitors, the park features two distinct, fully enclosed sections: one for small dogs (typically under 25 or 30 lbs) and another for large dogs (over 25 or 30 lbs). This separation allows dogs to play with others of similar size and energy levels, reducing potential conflicts.
-
Agility Obstacles: The park includes various agility equipment and obstacles, such as tunnels and other structures. These elements offer opportunities for dogs to engage in stimulating physical activities, explore, and enhance their coordination.
-
Water Fountain: A water fountain is available within the park, ensuring that both dogs and their owners can stay hydrated during their visit, especially during warmer months. Some sources indicate the presence of a hose for quick rinses as well.
-
Waste Management: The park provides trash receptacles for waste disposal, and while not explicitly stated in all reviews, dog park etiquette and typically local park regulations suggest the presence of poop bag dispensers, ensuring owners can easily clean up after their pets.
-
Seating Areas: Benches and shaded seating areas are available for human companions, providing comfortable spots to relax and supervise their dogs during playtime.
-
Walking Paths: Within the larger Whitman Avenue Park, there are walking paths that can be utilized for leashed walks before or after off-leash playtime.

Jun 06, 2025 · MANUEL CRISTANCHOMy wife and I were in town for a horror convention and to visit family. We wanted to allow our little girl run around because we live in upstate NY and she'd been cramped up for so long. So we brought her here. We loved that there's big dog and small dog areas! Anya has an absolute blast running around and playing with the other dogs there. It was such a a nice park, so well kept up with, nice and tidy and the area it's located in is so quiet and nice! Would definitely take her here again if we're in Edison again!

Apr 25, 2025 · Allison HibyNice dog park with 2 separate areas for larger and smaller sized dogs. There's a few benches to sit while you're doggos play around. There are also a few obstacles and equipment pieces for the dogs as well. Plenty of trash cans and it's relatively clean. They do have water stations that are active during the warm weather months. No restrooms at the park. They do have separate playground for kids as well.
