Nice decent-sized dog park. Came here and no one else was there which was nice and disappointing at the same time. I worked on my dogs recall, which isn't the best but she did really well given we were alone. I like that there were poop stations with bags available to pick up after your dog. The large dog section has lawn chairs and a wooden bench with a roof you can sit under which is nice if it was sunny or slightly drizzling. Few toys available, a chuck it and a wooden bridge thing for the dogs to play with/on. Small dog side had a plastic tunnel. Hope to come back here when there are other dogs but still had a great time and my dog was able to burn off some energy and get some training in.

Jun 16, 2025 · Meghan HansenIt’s the best option for the area, but some people don’t clean up after there dogs and some of the people are not the nicest. But when you get a good group it’s a good time.

Apr 28, 2025 · Kevin M. DruryMamakating Park has a great dog park. Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the park, but they'll have plenty of room to run around. The entire dog area is fenced off. There's an area to the left for big dogs and another separate park to the right for smaller dogs. The park is on the east side of the park. If you're coming from Bloomingburg, it's the first entrance on your left. If you're coming from Wurtsboro, it's the second entrance to your right. Since it's located within mamakating park, there's a bathroom as well as places for children to play if you bring any along.
Dec 30, 2023 · Ddsh 1DECENT PARK WITH TWO OFF-LESH AREAS. The large dog area is on a slope and would not be good in the rain. Very secluded and quiet facility - there are other amenities for the kids in the same area. One very nice soccer field!
