Great dog park! Lots of nice trails with pretty scenery of the fields, woods, and the nearby river. My dogs loved swimming in the river. A few benches available along the trails to take a rest if needed. Would give it 5 stars if the park was fully fenced in, but it's only fenced in certain places. So it's very important for dogs to know how to come when called at this park, for both dogs' and human's safety. Good recall is a must. Overall a great park! Will definitely return. • Dog Licensing: All dogs must be properly licensed with their respective municipality in Wisconsin. This is a standard requirement for pet ownership and ensures a level of accountability.
  • Current Vaccinations: Dogs should have up-to-date rabies vaccinations, and often other core vaccinations, to ensure the health and safety of all canine visitors. This helps prevent the spread of diseases within the park.
  • Waste Cleanup: While not explicitly stated if poop bags are provided (a review notes that users should "bring your own supplies"), responsible pet ownership dictates that owners must always clean up after their dogs. This is vital for maintaining the park's cleanliness and pleasant environment.

Occasionally, local pet advocacy groups or the City of Racine Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services might host free educational events, dog-related activities, or clean-up days at the park. These are not direct promotions but opportunities for community engagement and to enhance the park experience.
