Nice dog park it’s cool they added the agility corse because most dog parks are just grass Two things though whoever made it did cut corners by not removing this metal divider in the ground this is very dangerous for dogs or people the park is built where something once was leaving concrete on the ground in the park which should have been removed and it would have been perfect

Welcome to Burlington Dog Park
For dog owners across the New Jersey region, particularly those in Burlington City and surrounding areas, finding a dedicated and well-equipped space for their furry companions to exercise and socialize is a key priority. Burlington Dog Park, located at 809 Highland Ave, Burlington, NJ 08016, stands out as a valuable local resource, offering more than just an open field for dogs to roam. It's a community hub designed with specific features to enhance the dog park experience, fostering both canine well-being and owner interaction.
A notable highlight of Burlington Dog Park, immediately appreciated by visitors, is the inclusion of an agility course. As one satisfied user commented, "it’s cool they added the agility corse because most dog parks are just grass." This addition provides a stimulating and engaging activity for dogs, promoting physical fitness and mental agility beyond simple running. The park's design also thoughtfully caters to different canine sizes, featuring "two small fenced-in areas: one for small dogs and another for large dogs," ensuring a safer and more comfortable environment for all.
The community aspect of Burlington Dog Park is also a significant draw. While some areas might face challenges, visitors largely commend the shared responsibility among users. One owner noted, "My husband cleans up after his dogs as well as others. For the most part, most people pick up after their dogs so it stays relatively clean of poop, unlike the small dog side." This commitment from regular patrons helps maintain a positive and clean environment, reflecting a dedicated community that values their shared space. Despite some existing maintenance concerns, such as "concrete on the ground" or "large holes that need to be filled in," the park's fundamental offerings and community spirit make it a cherished spot for New Jersey dog owners.
Burlington Dog Park is conveniently located at 809 Highland Ave, Burlington, NJ 08016, USA. This address places it squarely within Burlington City, a charming and historic community in Burlington County, New Jersey. Its location within the city limits makes it an easily accessible destination for local residents and those in nearby towns.
The park's positioning within a neighborhood makes it a practical choice for daily visits. Accessibility is further enhanced by "easy parking and access," as noted by visitors. This alleviates a common frustration at many public spaces, ensuring that dog owners can quickly and conveniently get their pets into the off-leash areas without a long trek from a distant parking spot. The clear street address makes it simple to locate using GPS or online maps.
While the park is built "where something once was," leading to some existing concrete, its overall integration into the local landscape makes it a natural fit for the community. The convenience of its location means that for many Burlington City residents, it's a neighborhood park they can "take them almost everyday." This ease of access and parking greatly contributes to the park's suitability as a regular spot for dog exercise and socialization for New Jersey locals.
-

This open feedback allows visitors to be aware and potentially advocate for enhancements.
As a public municipal park, Burlington Dog Park, located at 809 Highland Ave, Burlington, NJ 08016, typically does not offer commercial promotions, discounts, or special offers in the traditional business sense. Public dog parks are usually funded and maintained by the local city or county government, and their primary "offer" is free access to a valuable community resource.
For residents of Burlington City and the surrounding New Jersey area, the "special offers" from Burlington Dog Park come in the form of consistent, accessible amenities and community benefits:
-
Free Access to Enhanced Facilities: The most significant "offer" is the free and unrestricted access to a dog park that includes not just open space, but also an agility course and separate areas for small and large dogs. These features provide a higher level of engagement and safety than many basic dog parks, all at no cost to the user.
-
Community Engagement and Support: While not a commercial promotion, the park fosters a strong sense of community among its regulars. This provides an invaluable "offer" of social connection for dog owners, where they can meet like-minded individuals, share tips, and build friendships. The self-policing nature mentioned in reviews (e.g., people cleaning up after others) is a testament to this community support.
-
Ongoing Municipal Oversight: Although there are calls for specific improvements (e.g., filling holes, removing concrete), the expectation that "Burlington City will take care of that this spring" indicates that the park is under active municipal management. This implies that the City of Burlington is committed to maintaining and potentially improving the park's infrastructure over time, which is an ongoing "offer" to residents.

One of the most compelling reasons for its suitability is the inclusion of an agility course. This feature elevates the park beyond a simple grassy enclosure, providing stimulating physical and mental exercise that many dogs crave. For local pet parents seeking to keep their active pups engaged and well-behaved, the agility equipment offers a fantastic outlet, making each visit more purposeful and fun.
Furthermore, the park's thoughtful division into separate areas for small and large dogs is a crucial benefit. This ensures a safer and more harmonious play environment for all canines, allowing owners to feel confident that their smaller or larger pets can interact comfortably with appropriate playmates. This design consideration directly addresses common concerns about mixed-size dog parks, providing peace of mind for Burlington locals.
The strong sense of community among the park's regular visitors is another significant highlight. The shared commitment to cleanliness, where many "pick up after their dogs" and even after others, fosters a welcoming and respectful atmosphere. The convenient "easy parking and access" further simplifies daily visits, integrating the park seamlessly into local routines.

Nov 04, 2021 · Dom EspoA nice neighborhood dog park, convenient with easy parking and access. Our dogs enjoy the large dog side and we take them almost everyday. My husband cleans up after his dogs as well as others. For the most part, most people pick up after their dogs so it stays relatively clean of poop, unlike the small dog side. It can get muddy and the dogs get dirty after bad weather because of a couple large holes that need to be filled in and grass over. Hope Burlington City will take care of that this spring (2022)!
Jan 25, 2022 · Riche OutlawBeautiful dog park when spring comes around, I usually come here in the early hours or after noon. Not too crowded and has an agility course
Dec 11, 2021 · Robert WilliamsNice dog park but in the summer the smell is almost unbearable. It’s a nice spot to bring your dog for playtime and I throw my fishing rods in the little pond as well. People are courteous with handling their dogs. If it could just smell better, that would be awesome!
Jul 02, 2022 · Urban DivaThere is rarely any other dogs around when I take my dog. It is separated into 35 pounds and under and 35 pounds and over. The smell is not pleasant because it is by the water and sewage of the Delaware. The grass needs to be cut more often than it is. The area is quiet.
