Welcome to Broomfield Commons Dog Park
For dog owners in Broomfield, Colorado, and the surrounding communities, finding a reliable, clean, and welcoming space for their canine companions to run free and socialize is a top priority. Broomfield Commons Dog Park consistently emerges as a beloved local gem, cherished for its excellent amenities and the friendly atmosphere it cultivates. This expansive off-leash area isn't just a place for dogs to stretch their legs; it's a vibrant community hub where both pets and their owners can thrive.
What truly sets Broomfield Commons Dog Park apart, as echoed by its loyal visitors, is its unwavering commitment to cleanliness and a respectful environment. Reviews frequently highlight how "always clean" the park is and how "people are respectful of your dog." This dedication to maintaining a pleasant space makes it a comfortable and inviting destination for all. The large, fully fenced design ensures ample room for dogs of all sizes to play vigorously, from chasing a "million tennis balls" to simply enjoying a good run.
The park's thoughtful design also includes designated sections for both large and small dogs. This crucial separation provides peace of mind for owners of smaller or more timid pups, ensuring they have a safe and comfortable space to interact without being overwhelmed by larger, more boisterous playmates. This inclusivity contributes significantly to the park's friendly and harmonious atmosphere.
While the park offers some shade structures and natural features like rocks and stumps, visitors note that more shade would be a welcome addition, especially during the peak summer months. However, this minor point does not "dim the rating" for many, given the park's overall excellence. The availability of a water source "inside the park" is a major convenience, eliminating the need for owners to carry heavy water bottles, though it's important to remember that the water is shut off after the first frost, so winter visits require bringing your own.
Beyond the practical amenities, Broomfield Commons Dog Park offers a truly "wonderful view of the Rockies." This stunning backdrop elevates the experience, allowing owners to enjoy Colorado's majestic landscape while their furry friends frolic. It's a place where canine joy meets scenic beauty, creating a memorable outing for everyone involved. Jun 11, 2025 · CherylbethCarter CarterWe go at least once a week. I like that it has a separation for smaller dogs because I have two small shih tzus that just love it there. Also I do like that they have water fountains available to fill up your own containers for water for your pups.
Apr 13, 2025 · Vegas HogedaBig dog park. Over 300ft x 300ft. Dog owners are more responsible here compared to other dog parks - not a lot of poop lying around at all. It's only a year old so when the trees grow taller the dogs will have more shade. The water pump stays on for much longer than other dog parks too. Wasn't turned off until November or December so we had over 9 months of water for the dogs.
Feb 12, 2018 · Andrew WGreat dog park. Always clean and well maintained. This one features a small dog area and a large dog area. Ground is a sand/gravel mix which does a good job or keeping the smell from urine down. There are trees that are behind fences so they arent damaged but the dogs and still able to provide some measure of shade.
