My dog had a great time at Beck Lake! It was my first time taking her there, but I loved the variety of options for her. She enjoyed swimming, running on the grass, and traipsing through the prairie. We will definitely be back!

This is literally the best dog park my dog & I have ever been to! It is huge, with a large lawn to play on, a lake, and nature trails that wind through the forest and grasslands. It's so expansive that it never feels too busy, but there are always nice dogs there to play with! Really well maintained, fully, securely fenced, and the reasonable annual membership fee ($60) is well worth it. If your dog needs off-leash training, this is a great place to do it! Would recommend you throw a brightly-colored jacket and/or an air tag / GPS collar on for your pup's first visit — though it's a safe, contained space for them to run out of sight, you absolutely can lose track of them! Love that the forest preserves provide this space! 🌳🌳

UPDATE: My dog sliced open one of his paws while swimming in the pond. This is the second time in 12 months that he's cut himself on something. I don't know what he's cutting it on in the water but I will be sure to be extra careful next time. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is a giant park. Room for your dog to run forever. Just know that if the ground is not frozen that your dog will get muddy. Also, if you have a water dog (I have a Lab), there is a pond that will be irresistible to them. My dog loves this place.

Amazing park, lots of space for dogs to run as much as they want. Mostly clean, some people try to sneak inside, but please stop, you need a health certificate, that's how we feel safe letting our dogs in there and almost to incidents happens inside.
