Jul 15, 2024 · Mrs. CI would like to express how disappointed I am of the treatment I received from the manager on staff on 12/11 at Mascotte location. I understand her name is Amanda, no last name was provided even thought I asked. She was VERY unprofessional, rude, loud and mean not only to me but I saw her be this way with the front desk girls ( who are amazing). Let me explain: I was the 1st to arrive that day and saw how Amanda walked in just barking orders to the young ladies, I thought it was harsh but ok it had nothing to do with me, little did I know I would be receiving the same treatment. I was called in for my dog to get blood drawn for glucose test. The tech lady walked in with Amanda and with out saying good morning or explaining what was going to happen, Amanda proceeds to tell me in a loud voice which carried throughout the room, “Ma’am I need you to step out of the room your energy will get the dog nervous” as she was holding my dog. I wanted to tell her that it was HER energy and the way she was holding my dog that was creating anxiety on my dog but I didn’t, I quietly stepped out. I could hear the struggle they were having in getting the blood drawn. By the 3rd tried I heard the tech lady say “finally”, which I took as my cue to come in. It was at this point that things escalated and Amanda got nasty. I walked in and nicely said to her: “I can take her now” and she(Amanda) barked at me saying: “ Ma’am you have to let us do our job” to which I said: “but you girls are done drawing the blood.” With an attitude and her voice loud for all to hear she says: “ we are not done let us do our job, I cannot give you the dog as it can bite me or you and cause an insurance issue.” All this was said in a nasty tone to which I said: “ you don’t have to speak to me that way. You are being unprofessional, there is a way and tone to speak to people.” I thought by asking for my dog I was helping with the situation. I understand that there is protocol but there should be a sound decorum when dealing with people. I ask that you reconsider having this type of person working for your organization. You should have staff that not only care for the animals but know how to speak to the public. Moving forward, I will not be taking my dog there and I have advised everyone not to take their animals there. It is a shame because the doctors are amazing, especially Dr. Diaz.
Dec 20, 2024 · Carmelo SantanaI've been taking my dogs here for almost 20 years, and I've never had a problem with this vet. The only downside is I wish that they would offer boarding. Everyone here is very friendly and very helpful. They seem to really care about each individual pet, and they really try to help make the experience less stressful on the pets and their hoomans.😊
Oct 13, 2024 · Candy ReilloThis review does not reflect how nice and friendly the staff is. However the Vet is as worthless as they come. My dog went there as he just got neutered somewhere else and was very inflamed. He is a very active 80+ pound Shepard and we were concerned he had a hematoma. Along with that he has an ear infection and a mucus like substance is coming out of his left ear. He gave us antibiotics after hardly even looking where he had his surgery. As far as his ear he said he couldn’t see an infection. You can literally see it with a naked eye. On top of all of this we asked for trazadone so we can keep him calm while he heals. He said no dog needs trazadone they need training.( our dog was not only sent to training he is 100% off leashed trained). Very ignorant human I feel bad for the staff who has to work around this very uneducated vet. Below is what came out of his ear which he said “isn’t infected”. Update: We were told to come back in to see a different Vet who only works fridays and saturdays. Absolutely a different experience was much better.
Dec 24, 2024 · Corey ElkinYou’ve Got a Friend in Mascotte is wonderful. We’ve been going to them for 11 years now. They take such great care of our furry family and they genuinely care. Chloe is Amazing. She really has helped us with all of our boys, and this year we had to make the hardest decision to put our sweet lab Chase down. She was so wonderful during that time. Highly recommend this Vet office, all the staff and doctors have been great!
