I cannot express how much I appreciate and love every single staff member at this vet office. They worked with me through not only one but TWO surgeries for my cat. When i really needed the help and guidance they were there through every tear and question I had. I called every morning for two weeks and I was met with such kind and loving souls every phone call. They were able to save my sweet cat. And we are so so so thankful. I cannot recommend Dr. Weidinger and her staff enough. From the bottom of our hearts thank you so so much - Sandpaper and family 💓💓💓

Mar 29, 2025 · Morgan StudebakerWendy at York Veterinary Hospital has been a blessing to our dog Chloe. She is always going out of her way to give Chloe her Allergy shot each month and is extremely kind and friendly. She also assisted in a major teeth cleaning as well. She took extra special care of her that day and went the extra mile. Greatly appreciated.
Dec 17, 2024 · Michelle WolkeWe have been with York Vet for quite a few years now and have always been happy with their care, however, in the last few days we are beyond thankful for ALL the incredible staff at York Vet. We took in 3 of our dogs Tuesday for surgery for spay/neuter and gastropexy for our Danes. I was pretty uneasy about leaving one of our Danes due to her being a service dog, but they assured me she would do great. Night 1 at home was ROUGH. One of the dogs was so sick, one couldn't even get up for hours, and the other would not stop crying. Kate from York Vet called first thing Wednesday morning to check in with how they were doing. I explained everything and my concerns with all the pups including our puppy who had also gone Tuesday for his Rabies shot. Even though the Dr who performed our surgery was out of the office, Kate got to work checking in with different doctors in the practice to come up with treatment plans for all the dogs. Kate worked hard to make sure the meds they would need were filled and ready before close of business since today is Thanksgiving and they were closed. All the doctors in the practice heard my concerns and made treatment plans that I felt would truly help the dogs feel better and also allow mama to get maybe a little sleep over night. To top it all, Dr DeFratis then text me last night to let me know that Storm's bloodwork came back great and hoped that our pups continued to feel better. In todays day and age it is sometimes difficult to find care with providers who truly care and HEAR YOU when you have concerns, but the doctors and staff at York Vet really do. So from our family to all of you, Thank you for going above and beyond for all of our dogs. We appreciate you! Happy Thanksgiving from all of us Kelsie Imgrund Michele Smith Kyla Dallas Carli Hattie Storm Oliver Maisie Wilbur
Nov 28, 2024 · Kelsie ImgrundWe have been with this vet for a few years and have seen a series of their vets. Each one is so sweet with our pit bull. They follow up and persevere when there aren’t obvious answers. We went through a tough period where our dog was sick with no noticeable reason and each time they were very understanding. He’s now on prescription food that is sent right to us through their mail in pharmacy which is fantastic. Their vet techs are also super sweet with our dog. I appreciate the extra care helping us avoid other dogs since he is reactive. They have also boarded him for a few short periods and he was well taken care of. Thank you for the consistent care!
Apr 19, 2025 · Samantha WoodMy cat has needed to be seen urgently a few times in the past 2 years. The front desk has always been helpful, professional and informative. My normally timid cat has responded very well to the vet and assistants; which makes me feel great about the care he receives when they take him in the back for treatments. Thanks for helping my boy, York Vet!
