My husband took our dog Kershaw here to get a fishing hook removed from his lip. He came home beaming about how nice the vet and nurse were and how seamless the service was. We called around a couple places to get quotes before choosing Yellow Dog and some of the other places wanted 3x the cost that they did the same procedure for. It is clear that they have a true passion for animals and can be trusted to take care of our beloved companions. Thank you Yellow Dog!

Yellow Dog was very caring when it came to spaying our Golden that has a congenital heart issue. They did a wonderful job letting us know she made it through surgery and was cleared to come home. They checked in on her the nest day, which is more than I can say for one of my medical providers! Highly recommend Yellow Dog Vet Clinic.

If you’re looking for a great veterinarian for your furry (or maybe not furry) pet, this is the place for you! We brought in our sweet Scrappy once he started struggling with his health a couple of years ago. Dr. Stanley and her staff were always so kind, compassionate, and empathetic toward us, and she would go out of her way to explain everything that was going on with Scrappy. If you noticed above, I am talking in past tense, because exactly two weeks ago, on January 23, 2023, we made the heartwrenching decision to put down Scrappy after 16-plus years on this earth due to his older age and his health problems catching up to him. Yellow Dog got us in on the same day for his appointment, and Dr. Stanley and her techs were supportive and empathetic to the situation. They ensured that the process was on our own time while making sure Scrappy crossed the rainbow bridge as peacefully as possible. Yellow Dog partners with Loyal & True Cremation Services out of Anderson for cremation, and we opted to go that route so we could always have Scrappy with us. The staff at Yellow Dog let us know when Scrappy was ready for pickup, and they didn’t make us pay for the euthanasia and cremation on Scrappy’s appointment date. Dogs are great judges of character, and Scrappy loved everyone at Yellow Dog. We also felt the love from them throughout our time going there. As I write this with tears flowing from my eyes, words cannot adequately express how appreciative I am of Yellow Dog for everything they did for our sweet Scrappy up until the end and even beyond. Please highly consider getting your pet cared for here - you’ll be in good hands.

It's wonderful to finally find a place I can take Ms Libby that can see her in a timely manner, not cost an arm and a leg for every service, and have compassionate well qualified staff I can trust to take care of her. Every single experience at Yellow Dog has been amazing, even at sad times. Dr. Stanley is amazing, knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. I also cannot say enough good things about Courtney who loves, pampers and takes care of Ollie weekly. She definitely goes above and beyond.
