I don’t have any negative things to say about this vet. I have numerous reasons why I will stick with them, for life. Here’s a few… Last year my cat Tom had a hematoma on his ear, they got me in immediately & treated him at a very affordable rate. 2 months later my dog decided it was her time to shine and ate corn on the cob & needed an obstruction surgery. They did not perform the surgery but got me into Wilson’s in a flash and did all her aftercare. All of which I am forever grateful for, without Yale vet my beloved bull terrier would be dead. Then London decided to get several hematomas and we were back in forth at Yale Vet for a couple months straight. And now, our most recent visit. My poor kitties Tom & Simba had an upper respiratory issue. They got me in that day and my babies are good as new!!! I promise each and every staff member loves what they do. I can assure that!

Jan 04, 2025 · Oliver OptionsAlways friendly to our animals, very professional. They were all very sympathetic when cancer was getting the best of our dog.
Mar 27, 2025 · Sandy Wrightwe've always came to this place because it was close to home and our pets usually only came in for shots. when my cat started having seizures, we took him in to get him medicine. A few days after we began to give our cat his medicine, we saw that he was becoming lethargic. we tried to speak with the vet about this, but she insisted everything was fine with our cat. at the end of the week we had to take our cat to a vet hospital in Romeo because our cat had found a place to hide and die. turns out this Yale vet was overdosing my cat. thanks to the vet hospital in Romeo my cat had to undergo a blood transfusion (which saved his life), he was given the CORRECT medication with the CORRECT amount, and he hasn't had a seizure since. i will never take any of my pets to the Yale Veterinary Hospital again.
Feb 02, 2025 · WindingCandleHORRIBLE experience the lady with brownish black hair is incredibly rude. My dog has a hard time getting his nails cut so I called to get him sedated and cut. When I got there they cut without sedation and yelled at my dog and got mad at me for not getting him sedated. Insane this place is actually open.
Dec 30, 2024 · Austin SchasserThis has been my clinic for over 20 years and I have always loved it, but it is simply not the same without Dr. Nordrum. Dr. Nordrum was extremely knowledgable, educational, thorough and personable! I cannot say the same for the new doctors they have brought on staff. The exams are not nearly as thorough. Ears, teeth, nose, paws, etc were not checked during annual check up. One of my dogs gets cysts, but these can easily change to tumors down the road, when asking about them the doctor shrugged it off and said it wasn’t a concern without looking at or feeling them. My dog had a plush coat. You cannot see them without actually touching her coat. I recently had another dog neutered this month. I received a call stating most vets would have done a scrotal ablation due to his size but they stated they wouldn’t do one. I had to call to make an appointment for a recheck a few days after surgery due to him being overly swollen and uncomfortable (even with an e-collar and crate aside from potty breaks) but while talking to the vet she stated she knew he would be back. Why would this not have been addressed beforehand? The neuter was already $400, which I will say is reasonable compared to other clinics in the area, but I had to come up again and spent another $190 between medication and visit. I was consistently spoken over while trying to answer the vets questions. I was never able to get a full sentence out. The receptionists and vet techs have always been kind and accommodating (even helping with same-day appointments) but the newer vets could use some improvement. Bedside manners are must. I encourage you to find someone like Dr. Nordrum. She is truly missed. Unfortunately, I fear it may be time to find another clinic.
