WVRC - Waukesha

We came here after vet referral for a blood transfusion, but WVRC’s doctors found a critical condition in Pumpkin’s heart. After hours (yes…hours) of thinking, researching, discussing, crying, praying, & many questions answered by Dr Diana, we made the decision to put our sweet boy to sleep. We weren’t prepared in any way to say goodbye to Pumpkin. WVRC provided the most comforting, private room to spend Pumpkin’s last moments in. He had a happy tummy—they provided many treats! We had private moments with our boy before & after we said goodbye. We picked up Pumpkin’s memorial items a week later. The staff was so empathetic & kind to us! Every step of their process is well thought out & extremely centered around the needs of your pet & family. Meeting such lovely people in disheartening situations is how you know their heart. special thank you to Dr Diana!!! 🤍

The staff was friendly, patient, and empathetic to our anxiety over our dog's injury even though we were probably behaving like helicopter parents. They got us into a room immediately and she was seen by the vet soon after. The vet took her time explaining all options for the best care and did not make the consultation feel rushed even though she had other patients to attend. Our questions and concerns were addressed. Our baby girl was resting and recovering at home within hours and our piece of mind about her well being was restored. Thank you WVRC Waukesha for top notch care!

I can’t say enough about the docs and staff at this facility. Our cat was a stow away on our truck and jumped off a mile from our house resulting in a broken pelvis. WVRC was open on Saturday, they got us in immediately, performed a thorough exam, we received a treatment plan and were on our way home before dinner. The staff was empathetic and helpful, the vet did a great job explaining everything. We have had some follow up questions and concerns and WVRC helped us through it all. My family is extremely grateful for this facility and the services they provide.

I can’t say enough good about WVRC. My fur baby is truly my whole world and I felt so comforted with her in their care. We ended up at WVRC after my 9.5 year old kitty ingested some lilies (that I knew I shouldn’t have had in the home). Once I realized she’d eaten them I was in sheer panic that I had killed her, as it can cause death in cats within 3 days. We rushed her to WVRC from Milwaukee and they got her hooked up to IV. She stayed for 48 hours to clear the toxins. Dr. Erin Kiehnau intaked/admitted her and I could not have asked for a better doctor to help me and my baby through this scary time. She was kind, calm, compassionate, and reassuring. Leaving B in her care put me at ease, as my kitty was extremely (max) stressed as an already sassy and temperamental girlie who does not do well away from me and with new people. Dr. Voss, Dr. Hayes, and Maria were also fantastic in providing her care, even though B gave them all sooooo much “attitude” (let’s just call it that..). WVRC provided me regular updates on how she was doing and kept me informed throughout her stay. I can’t thank WVRC enough, bringing my baby home safe meant the world to me. Thank you from the bottom of my and B’s heart. WVRC has always provided great service to my family and beloved dogs. Even when I have been anxious in the middle of the night with the various ailments my dogs have gotten themselves into. They've always been there to help us quickly understand how to help our dogs feel better.
