Woodley Gardens Veterinary Care

Highly recommend for general care and acupuncture, especially for senior pets. A nice balance of good medicine and practical advice in addition to excellent handling skills by the techs/nurses and professionalism on the part of front desk staff. Dr. Storm has been understanding that my dog Atom has been through the wringer with specialists and diagnostics over the past seven years and doesn't make any judgments towards taking a palliative care approach given all of his issues. My dog gets acupuncture and laser weekly which has helped keep him walking 4-5 miles a day despite orthopedic issues, Cushings, and liver cancer. Added bonus is that the cost is extremely reasonable, relative to what I've paid elsewhere. I am not great with names and I am certain I'm forgetting someone, but Kelly, Briana, Sangah, Aaron, Cece, and all of the other nurses who have helped with my dog during his appointments have been nothing but accommodating and patient (and he requires a lot of patience...), and they are awesome at coordinating his care outside of his appointments as well.

The veterinarian is the most important human being in my pets lives. I had to change veterinarian in the middle of COVID, which was not an easy task and they welcome me with my wild four-legged children. All the staff, front desk, vet techs are all amazing, professional, efficient, responsive to any request, and then Dr. Storm... He is the most amazing diagnostician I have ever met, and I met a few veterinarians along the way, a long way! He cares, he is patient, always takes the time to explain what's happening in one of my dogs or my last cat standing. He was the one to put my 14 year old lab to sleep last May. He is on top of everything. I said this for someone else, but I am going to say it for him as well. I do hope that every four-legged kid has a Dr. Storm in their lives.

I took my pet to Woodley Garden for a concerning health issue. To start off the nurses were very aggressive with my pet. I was very disappointed with the care. My pet was misdiagnosed at this location, leading to unnecessary treatment and stress. After seeking a second opinion, we found out the correct diagnosis, which required different treatment. I feel the examination was rushed and lacked thoroughness. I expected better care for my pet’s health. I cannot recommend woodley garden based on my experience.

To be honest, this was the best experience my family has had with a veterinarian practice. (Of course my pup had a great experience too which says a lot!). From the scheduling process, to the appointment itself and follow-up, everything has been great. We came from a different practice, Woodley Gardens made the transition so easy with obtaining all of my dogs prior records from multiple practices which made everything so much easier. My dog has inflammatory bowel disease and is under very specific care and a special diet because of this. Dr. Lowenthal has already been an amazing help with continuing care for my dog's disease and also helping us maintain communication with our dog's internist. I highly recommend this practice!

The doctors and staff are especially appreciative of the urgency felt by families in caring for our furry family members. Compassion and patience is definitely offered along with the staff’s expert clinical skills.
