Dr April and entire staff and pheromonal. They actually care and show compassion for all dogs and pets in there. My dog was attacked by a huskie and was at deaths door. Without the attention and know how, she would have died. Dr April said she needed a blood infusion asap and recommend True Care emergency hospital. She was diligent and spoke with the doctor working on our dog and followed through to make sure the best options were being explored. Our dog made it through and is now recovering. We absolutely love the staff and this place, i cant imagine going anywhere else.

As a prominent establishment within the Pet Hospital category, Woodland Hills Pet Clinic offers a comprehensive range of services designed to address the diverse health needs of pets. This isn't just a place for vaccinations; it's a full-service veterinary facility that provides everything from routine check-ups and preventative care to complex emergency treatments and surgical procedures. The clinic operates with the understanding that pets are cherished members of the family, and as such, they deserve the highest standard of medical attention.
Upon entering Woodland Hills Pet Clinic, visitors will find an environment that aims to be as comforting and reassuring as possible for both pets and their owners. While specific details on the decor are not available, the ethos of a high-quality pet hospital suggests a clean, organized, and welcoming space. The focus is on creating a calm atmosphere that minimizes stress for animals, especially those who may be anxious about visiting the vet. This likely includes separate waiting areas for cats and dogs, examination rooms designed for ease of access and pet comfort, and a general ambiance that conveys professionalism and care.
The core of Woodland Hills Pet Clinic's offerings revolves around its extensive array of veterinary services. These include, but are not limited to, general wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, and microchipping – all essential components of proactive pet health management. Beyond preventative care, the clinic is equipped to handle diagnostic services such as in-house laboratory testing, radiography (X-rays), and potentially ultrasound, allowing for prompt and accurate identification of health issues. Surgical services, ranging from routine spaying and neutering to more complex soft tissue surgeries, are also provided with the utmost care and attention to safety. Dental care is another crucial service, recognizing the significant impact oral health has on a pet's overall well-being. Furthermore, the clinic likely offers nutritional counseling and behavioral advice, empowering pet owners to make informed decisions about their animal companions' daily lives.
What truly sets Woodland Hills Pet Clinic apart, and a defining feature highlighted by real customer reviews, is the exceptional level of compassion and genuine care exhibited by Dr. April Linson and her entire staff. Testimonials repeatedly emphasize their "phenomenal" approach, noting that they "actually care and show compassion for all dogs and pets." This isn't merely about medical proficiency, but about a profound empathy for animals and their human families, especially during difficult times. One compelling review recounts a life-threatening incident where a dog was attacked and at "death's door." Dr. April's swift assessment, her recommendation for a blood infusion, and her diligent follow-through with an emergency hospital (True Care emergency hospital) were credited with saving the dog's life. This demonstrates a deep understanding of critical care and a proactive, collaborative approach to ensuring the best possible outcome for her patients, even if it means directing them to specialized facilities when necessary.
Another prominent feature is Dr. Linson's remarkable "bedside manner," particularly in heartbreaking situations. Losing or dealing with a severely ill pet is incredibly challenging, and the emotional support and empathetic communication provided by Dr. Linson and her team are invaluable. This level of understanding and kindness helps pet owners navigate emotionally charged circumstances with greater ease and confidence, reinforcing the clinic's commitment to supporting the entire family. The consistent praise for her caring and knowledgeable approach underscores her ability to combine medical expertise with a truly human touch.
While specific ongoing promotions are not available, the clinic's consistent positive reviews serve as a powerful form of promotion in themselves. Word-of-mouth recommendations, stemming from deeply positive experiences, are often the most effective marketing tool for a local business like a pet hospital. The testimonials clearly indicate that clients "absolutely love the staff and this place" and "can't imagine going anywhere else," which speaks volumes about the quality of care and the strong relationships built within the community. Potential promotional information might include a focus on preventative care packages for new puppies or kittens, seasonal health check-up discounts, or perhaps even a referral program for existing clients. However, the existing reputation for exceptional care and compassion is undoubtedly its strongest promotional asset, attracting and retaining loyal clientele. The phone number (818) 222-7387 and mobile number +1 818-222-7387 are readily available for booking appointments and inquiries, ensuring easy access for current and prospective clients.
In summary, Woodland Hills Pet Clinic, led by the highly esteemed Dr. April Linson, is more than just a veterinary office; it's a dedicated partner in pet health. Its strength lies in its comprehensive service offerings as a Pet Hospital, its commitment to creating a comforting environment, and above all, the unparalleled compassion, expertise, and "bedside manner" of its entire team. Sep 15, 2021 · Cassiel HamiltonDr. Linson is a fantastic vet. We have brought all of our animals to see her when necessary and she has been so kind, caring and knowledgeable every time. Her ‘bedside manner’ when you are going through a heartbreaking situation with one of your beloved furry family members is second to none. We highly recommend her and all of her wonderful staff at WHPC. Thank you Dr. Linson for everything you have done for us.
Jan 24, 2023 · James HarveyOverall terrible experience with this clinic Brought my cat in 6 months ago for a check up / treatment for some sores and lesions on the back and front of his neck. At first me not knowing much was open to trying anything , after months of trial and error and multiple visits with completely different doctors ( which to me is odd that they don’t suggest or ask if I’d prefer a specific doctor or not, like the one who saw him last time?? I barely even got her name. ) The doctor had come to the conclusion that it must be air freshener or detergent that is making my cat MUTILATE himself. After changing EVERYTHING in this cats life, the lesions continued .. got worse and I was forced to go into my last and final appointment. I hadn’t slept in days worrying about my cat , I take him in and they want to try another topical cream even though all steroids , allergy , and topicals treatments had been ruled out. Frustrated with all the money I’ve spent so far with NO RESULTS, crying, I tried to ask for tests for a specific fungus and she looked at me and RUDELY dismissed anything I had to say and said if I need piece of mind then I should go to a specialist, and while she was absolutely right I should have never wasted my time there , I felt so upset when after saying “I’m not even going to take his temperature to traumatize him even further” after she literally only looked at him for 15 minutes and talked down to me , charged me $75 for his “physical exam” you honestly could get the same care / medications from pet food express on the weekends with their traveling vet from 10-1 and you get treated WAY better. Thanks so much Woodland Hills vey clinic you’re the BEST , he will be seeing a specialist soon
