Woodland Animal Hospital

We have had to come up to Woodland multiple times (we have 4 babies) due to HGE. We were scared and very concerned because of the symptoms of the HGE which can be fatal. The doctors as always were amazing. They took the time to talk and explain HGE and treated our babies quickly. Navaeh, Patience, Emma and Aaliyah are AMAZING TECHS!!!! We have been with Woodland for 10 years and I will say earlier this year we were on the hunt for another vet because of the poor management, service and care. But when we had no other choice this spring/summer we were thankful we stuck it out because the change in management and some staff members had been the best thing ever. Dr. Vega and Dr Martinez were a life savers this summer. It doesn’t stop there. Dr. Lewis and Dr. Gatch have continued to give us confidence in the care being provided. I she no problem giving feedback to improve but I also think it’s important to recognize the great things that have been happening and are continuing to happen. It is also evident that the staff up front are personable and genuinely have a love for their job. If you left Woodland because of its past I would urge you to please give them another chance. You will not be disappointed. If you are a new client looking for a Vet I would highly recommend you stop searching and make your appointment at Woodland.

As soon as we walked in the staff took our concerns seriously. They were very friendly and got our koda back immediately to stop the bleeding and bandage him up until he could see a doctor. We were with doctor Haggard within about an hour of walking in and she was amazing. Super transparent and compassionate. We did have to leave our pup there overnight to see when they could fit him in, but I was able to call and get check ups on him. I wish I could remember the name of the technician who checked us out after we picked him up because she was amazing! Very thorough and answered our millions of questions while being very kind and patient. Our pup could barely walk when he came out and she helped us get him to the car and helped lift him up into the car. I also feel like our final price was very reasonable. Everyone in the office was very kind to our baby and in an emergency situation, that was much appreciated.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Gabrielle Rands. 5 stars is not enough. We brought our 10 year old boxer “Judge” in this morning bright and early. They took him back for triage and checked his vitals, thankfully his vitals were normal, but they still kept him back for observation until a room became available. Which gave me so much reassurance in that moment just knowing that he was being monitored by professionals. Once we got in our room, the most amazing Veterinarian Doctor walked through the door. As I was a blobbing mess, she patiently and compassionately let me get through the circumstances surrounding why we were there. Dr. Rands did the full work up to ensure that not only was Judge healthy and okay, but the concern for our peace of mind was her priority, too. She took the time to show us the results, answered all of our many questions, (some through tears) and even once we had thought we reached the max on questions we could ask, she asked if we had more. Which was pleasantly shocking because there of course are always more questions, and it was clear that there was no rush on getting us out the door. I left today having answers, feeling confident about the treatment he received, and thankful to have had encountered a top notch doctor in vet med. My sweet Judge is at home resting, and now so can I. Thank you Dr. Rands, I hope you are often reminded just how special you are to the practice, and the lasting impact you’re making on your patients and their families.

Just wanted to say a very sincere thank you to the vet that was working on Sunday, September 15,2024. We brought out pittie “Blue” in that morning. He had lymphoma and we knew he was starting to suffer. I wish I knew her name but under the circumstances, I was a mess, knowing I had to do the hardest thing in my life to take him out of his misery. To say I loved this boy was an understatement. We don’t use woodland as we have another vet for years. This lady was the absolute best. Very compassionate, even sitting down on the floor with us and talking to us through the process. A heartfelt thank you to her. I know she truly cared about us and him. If you see this, please respond with her name so I can acknowledge her. Thank you so much Woodland. This was around 7:30 am on Sunday, September 15th!!

We went to Woodland late one evening because my dog Mocha had a large cut on her upper paw. Everyone there was extremely friendly and attentive. The vet that night was amazing. We had to end up coming back a week later due to Mocha pulling her stitches out. The front desk ladies were super sweet and offered Mocha a soft towel to sit on. Thanks for caring for my baby. I drive 45 minutes to get to Woodland due the care we receive.
