Welcome to Woodcock Animal Clinic

Woodcock Animal Clinic, located at 21524 PA-198, Saegertown, PA 16433, USA, serves as a vital 'Pet Hospital' for the community of Saegertown and its surrounding areas. Operating as a veterinary office, this clinic is dedicated to providing essential animal healthcare services, focusing on the well-being and health of pets. It stands as a local resource where pet owners can seek professional medical attention for their beloved companions, ranging from routine check-ups to addressing more immediate health concerns.

The environment at Woodcock Animal Clinic is implicitly designed to facilitate veterinary care, although detailed descriptions of its interior or specific amenities are not extensively publicized. As a general practice veterinary clinic, one can infer that it maintains a professional and functional setting equipped for animal examinations, diagnostics, and treatments. The clinic likely features a reception area where clients and their pets are welcomed, examination rooms for consultations, and designated spaces for administering medication or performing procedures. The goal of such an environment is to ensure a clean, safe, and as comfortable as possible experience for the animal patients. The fact that it operates with regular business hours from Monday to Friday suggests a consistent and accessible physical presence for the community. While specific state-of-the-art equipment details aren't highlighted in publicly available information, a functional veterinary clinic would possess the necessary tools for general diagnostics and care. Customer reviews, even those mentioning challenges, often speak to the care provided within the clinic, suggesting a dedicated space for animal welfare. The clinic's location on a state highway also implies ease of access for local residents.

Woodcock Animal Clinic provides a range of general veterinary services, typical of a 'Pet Hospital' focused on primary animal healthcare. While a comprehensive list of all services is not readily available, common offerings that can be expected include routine wellness examinations, which are crucial for preventative care and early detection of potential health issues. Vaccinations, essential for protecting pets from common and often serious diseases, would also be a staple service. The clinic likely offers parasite control and prevention strategies. As indicated by some information, dental care is a featured service, highlighting the importance of oral health for pets. This typically involves dental cleanings and potentially extractions. The mention of a cat with an ear infection in a customer review also points to the clinic's ability to diagnose and treat common ailments and infections. Furthermore, general practitioner veterinary services would encompass diagnosis and treatment for various illnesses, injuries, and minor surgical procedures. For any specific or specialized services, it is always recommended for pet owners to contact the clinic directly to confirm their capabilities. The clinic's commitment to "small animal veterinary services" suggests a focus on companion animals like dogs and cats.

A key feature of Woodcock Animal Clinic, as highlighted by customer feedback, is the compassionate and dedicated nature of its staff. Despite a reported issue with phone communication, a reviewer specifically praised the "wonderful" staff, even in a difficult circumstance involving the passing of a pet. This underscores a significant characteristic of the clinic: a team that prioritizes the comfort and well-being of the animals and provides support to grieving pet owners. Dr. Scott Barzak is identified as the owner and principal contact, suggesting a consistent leadership that influences the clinic's patient care philosophy. The personal touch and evident care from the team are invaluable features for pet owners who view their animals as family members. Another practical feature is the clinic's operating hours, which include full days on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and a half-day on Wednesday, providing consistent access during the work week. While the phone issues are a concern, the positive sentiment regarding staff compassion indicates a strong foundation of human connection in their service delivery. This empathy and dedication contribute significantly to the overall experience at the clinic.

Regarding promotional information, Woodcock Animal Clinic, like many veterinary practices, facilitates access to various payment and savings options for its clients. They are listed as accepting pet insurance for unexpected accidents and illnesses, encouraging pet owners to consider coverage while their pets are healthy to avoid pre-existing condition exclusions. Furthermore, the clinic may support or work with wellness plans offered by some insurance providers, which can help manage routine health expenses. For clients facing significant veterinary costs, the clinic may accept treatment financing solutions such as CareCredit and Scratchpay. These options allow pet owners to spread out payments over time, making large, unexpected expenses more manageable. While specific, ongoing "discount" promotions like a free first visit or seasonal offers are not explicitly advertised in readily available public information, the clinic's acceptance of these widely used financial tools serves as a form of client support. The clinic is also a participant in programs like Pet Assure, which offers members a 25% saving at participating practices. For the most current and specific details on any promotional offers, payment plans, or accepted insurance providers, it is always best for prospective and current clients to contact Woodcock Animal Clinic directly via their phone number, (814) 763-6440 or +1 814-763-6440, or by visiting the clinic in person.

The girls are always so nice!! I was 30 mins early for my appt and they got me in right away. The vet and techs are always so good with my dogs. Peanut (dachshund) adored the new tech ( her first day).

I absolutely LOVE Woodcock Animal Clinic! The staff is wonderful, always! But I have to point out when I've had emergencies with my dogs, and I can think of 3 or 4 times off the top of my head, that they always get me in on the same day and take care of my fur babies!!! I would highly recommend them! Thank you!!!!

We called about our cat that has abnormal peeing habits. They told us we had to get a urine sample from the cat. Wouldn’t help us with instruction on how to do it so I called back and asked about a catheter. The lady sounded dumbfounded I would even ask. But seriously HOW do you get a urine sample from a cat that stands up to pee and stops peeing everytime I approach her. I can’t leave her with an empty litter box or else she’ll go somewhere else in the house. They won’t see her until WE get the urine sample either.
