Welcome to Woodburn Veterinary Clinic: Cochell, Debbie & Titus, Nancy DVM
Welcome to Woodburn Veterinary Clinic, your local "Pet Hospital" situated at 225 S Pacific Hwy, Woodburn, OR 97071, USA. Led by the experienced team of Debbie Cochell, DVM, and Nancy Titus, DVM, our clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care for your beloved pets. We understand the vital role your animal companions play in your life, and we strive to be your trusted partner in ensuring their health and well-being. While the provided information includes a couple of recent customer experiences, we aim to give you a broader picture of what Woodburn Veterinary Clinic offers as a "Pet Hospital."
As a professional "Pet Hospital," Woodburn Veterinary Clinic aims to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for your pets. While specific details about the clinic's ambiance aren't extensively described in the reviews, a well-regarded veterinary clinic typically focuses on creating a clean, safe, and organized space to help pets feel as at ease as possible during their visits. You can generally expect a reception area, examination rooms where your pet will be seen by the veterinarians, and potentially other areas for procedures, surgery, and recovery, depending on the range of services offered. Our priority is to deliver quality veterinary care in a setting that minimizes stress for your animal companion.
Woodburn Veterinary Clinic, under the guidance of Dr. Cochell and Dr. Titus, likely offers a range of services expected from a full-service "Pet Hospital." Although the reviews don't detail every service, based on the positive feedback regarding accommodating a new dog on short notice and providing kind and loving care, we can infer that the following types of services are likely provided:
- General Veterinary Care: This would include routine check-ups, health assessments, and addressing general health concerns. The positive review about getting a new dog in quickly suggests responsiveness to immediate needs.
- Vaccinations: Essential for protecting your pet against various diseases.
- Parasite Prevention: Including measures against fleas, ticks, heartworms, and other internal parasites.
- Diagnostics: Such as laboratory testing (blood work, urinalysis, fecal exams) to help diagnose illnesses.
- Treatment of Illnesses: Addressing a wide range of medical conditions.
As a full-fledged "Pet Hospital," Woodburn Veterinary Clinic likely also offers services such as:
- Surgery: Ranging from routine procedures like spaying and neutering to more complex surgeries, depending on their facilities and expertise.
- Dental Care: Including teeth cleaning, dental examinations, and treatment of dental issues.
- Nutritional Counseling: To help you choose the best diet for your pet's specific needs.
One of the features highlighted in a positive review is the clinic's ability to accommodate a new dog on "extremely short notice" and the kind and loving care provided by the staff, which made a scared pet feel more comfortable. This suggests a responsive and compassionate approach to patient care. The mention of "all so kind and of loving to him" indicates a caring and supportive team.
However, it's important to also consider the negative review, which mentions a new policy of demanding pre-payment, leading to the cancellation of an appointment for a long-term customer who had always paid promptly. This indicates a recent change in their financial policy that might be a point of consideration for potential clients.
Information regarding specific "goods for sale" isn't detailed in the provided reviews. Typically, a "Pet Hospital" might offer products such as:
- Prescription diets for pets with specific health conditions.
- Preventative medications for fleas, ticks, and heartworms.
- Nutritional supplements.
- Other pet health-related products.
There is no promotional information mentioned in the provided text. Local veterinary clinics may sometimes offer introductory specials for new clients or promotions on specific services. To inquire about any current promotions or the full range of services and products offered, you can contact Woodburn Veterinary Clinic directly at (503) 982-2421 or +1 503-982-2421.
In summary, Woodburn Veterinary Clinic in Woodburn, OR, led by Debbie Cochell, DVM, and Nancy Titus, DVM, operates as a "Pet Hospital" providing veterinary care. Customer reviews indicate a caring and responsive team, particularly in accommodating urgent needs and providing compassionate care to pets. However, a recent change in financial policy regarding pre-payment has been noted by at least one long-term client. For local users seeking a pet hospital that appears to prioritize kindness and responsiveness, Woodburn Veterinary Clinic is worth considering. We recommend contacting them to discuss your pet's specific needs and to inquire about their current policies and the full scope of their services.

Jul 12, 2024 · Kim FurlongThey were able to get my new dog in on extremely short notice, took such good care of him, they were all so kind and of loving to him, (he was a bit scared). I can't recommend them highly enough!
Jan 20, 2020 · Marcia RowlandTook our new cat Thor in to be checked out. He is a somewhat grumpy, 6 year old outside cat that doesn't like car rides, so getting him to the vet made him unhappy. Once we were at the clinic, we were greeted professionally and sat in a nice, clean, comfortable waiting area. There is plenty of space in the waiting area so other pet owners that came and went could get by without animals getting upset or excited. Our technician, Alexis, greeted us and took us to an exam room. She was friendly and thorough We were given options to get him up to date on his vaccinations. Dr. Sapp examined Thor and gave him the vaccinations. Both were great with our cat and provided us with some good information to keep him healthy. Thor was surprisingly cooperative and even let the staff give him a little love by the end of the visit! We had a great experience and will be returning with Thor for his future care!
Sep 21, 2019 · K WalkerWe have been taking our dog to Woodburn Vet Clinic for boarding for nearly a year now. It’s such a good experience for him! He is always so happy to be there and the staff genuinely care about him. It’s comforting to us to know that he’s in great care while we are away.
May 03, 2018 · Java JonesWe have received exceptional care for our dog at the Woodburn Veterinary Clinic. They brought Enzo back to life several years ago, for which we are truly thankful, and have continued to give wonderful care ever since. The staff is friendly and helpful. Enzo loves going to the doctor and especially loves Megan, his best friend. Dr Ryan is very thorough and gives great explanations. We are totally happy with their service and highly recommend them for all veterinary needs.
