Very pleasant experience with Dr. Wofford. He fit us into his schedule quickly, took time with each of my animals and answered all the questions I had. My nervous and growling pup came out of his check up with his head up and his tail wagging...just like the goofy guy he is with us. We've definitely found our new Vet.

While specific details about the interior environment of Dr. Wofford's mobile unit are not available online, the overwhelmingly positive customer reviews offer significant insights into the overall experience. One recurring theme is the "very pleasant experience" reported by pet owners. This suggests a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere within the mobile clinic, designed to put both pets and their owners at ease. The fact that Dr. Wofford can "fit us into his schedule quickly" indicates a commitment to accessibility and responsiveness to the needs of his clients. This is particularly valuable when your pet requires timely attention.

The services offered by Wofford Trey DVM appear to encompass general check-ups and specific treatments. One particularly touching review details the successful treatment of a 14-year-old dog named Pebbles, who was experiencing issues with eating and swollen gums. After an initial check-up with bloodwork, Dr. Wofford identified the need for dental extractions, removing eight bad teeth. The outcome was remarkable, with Pebbles acting "like a new doggie" in the following six months, eating well, sleeping well, and becoming more playful. This highlights Dr. Wofford's diagnostic skills and his ability to effectively address dental issues, which are crucial for the overall health and well-being of many pets.

A significant feature of Wofford Trey DVM is the personalized attention provided to each animal. One reviewer specifically noted that Dr. Wofford "took time with each of my animals and answered all the questions I had." It fosters trust and confidence in the veterinary care being provided.

Perhaps one of the most compelling aspects of Wofford Trey DVM's mobile service is its positive impact on anxious pets. The reviewer with a "nervous and growling pup" shared a heartwarming experience: their dog "came out of his check up with his head up and his tail wagging...just like the goofy guy he is with us." This transformation from anxiety to comfort speaks volumes about Dr. Wofford's gentle approach and the calming effect of the mobile setting, which eliminates the stress of a traditional clinic environment. Similarly, Pebbles, who previously experienced a "nervous breakdown" at the prospect of going to a traditional office, "was so cute following behind him to his mobile unit on the lease & wagging her little tail!" This anecdote powerfully illustrates the reduced stress and increased comfort that a mobile veterinary service can offer, particularly for pets with anxiety or mobility issues.

The convenience of a mobile Pet Hospital cannot be overstated. Wofford Trey DVM eliminates the need for stressful car rides for pets, waiting rooms filled with unfamiliar animals and scents, and the potential for motion sickness. By bringing the clinic directly to your location in Aiken, Dr. Wofford makes veterinary care more accessible and less disruptive to your and your pet's routine. This is a significant advantage for busy pet owners or those with pets who become highly stressed in a clinic environment.

It has been 6 mos. since Dr. Trey 1st saw my fur baby, 14 y/o Pebbles. She wasn't eating well, gums swollen, etc. After 1st visit for ck-up with bloodwork, etc. he came back to extract her 8 bad teeth. Dr. Trey said expect her to act like a new doggie. Oh my goodness, past 6 mos. she has been eating well, sleeping well, & so playful. I am so thankful my neighbor referred him to me. I must add instead of my fighting with her to get her in an office while she was having a "nervous breakdown" she was so cute following behind him to his mobile unit on the lease & wagging her little tail! Thank you Dr. Trey, we'll see you for next ck-up馃挄

Our family lives out in the country and we see a lot of animals. We feed stray cats and in doing so, have created outdoor pets. We cannot afford vet care for them except in emergent cases, but we did pay to get the females on our property spayed to prevent future litters. One particular rescue came back recently with his tail almost cut in half and necrosis had set in. We love him and didn't want to see him die, so I called a long list of places, most of which were booked up and one of which named a price far too high for us to afford. I called Dr.Trey and politely explained the situation and asked if he could offer a price estimate for tail amputation. He asked who was the cats veterinarian. When I started to answer him, he cut me off and said "Have I ever seen your cat?" I told him no, the cat didn't have a vet. He responded with "Cats are animals. They can't choose their own doctor. If you are taking care of him, you are responsible for him. So what you are telling me is you have no veterinarian for your cat." I responded with no and he quickly said he was booked up for two weeks, I'd have to call elsewhere. He could have simply told me he wasn't taking on new clients without making it a point to shame me for having a heart for strays.

I called Dr. Trey Wofford of Palmetto Vet Calls to come to my house to euthanize my 18-year-old cat as her quality of life was gone. He told me originally that he could not fit me into his schedule and recommended Lap of Love who I called but they were not able to do it until at least a week later. Dr. Woodard said to call him back it I was unsuccessful with Lap of Love. I called him back and he was kind enough to fit me in at the end of his day. I really appreciated that. He came with his mobile truck and explained the process in detail. He wanted to take my cat to his mobile unit to do it but I asked and he complied that he do it in my house while I was present. He said it would be two injections the first of which would be a sedative so that she would not feel the second injection that he said would actually stop her heart. He gave her the first injection and her whole body jumped as she reacted. Then he said he would go wait in his truck until the sedative took effect. He left and I petted my cat while I waited but she died just seconds later. When he returned, I said she was gone and he checked and yes, she had died. He never gave her the second injection. I know she felt pain when he gave her the only injection. I was really overcome with grief and paid his bill and he left. When I looked at the bill, he actually charged me for two injections. I called him and questioned him about it and he denied what I saw with my own eyes. What upset me the most is not the bill but that he lied and that my cat had pain when she died. He has good reviews and he might be a great vet that treats your pet at your home but the whole idea of euthanasia is to painlessly help your best friend die peacefully.

He charged me 439.00 to come out and prescribe a medication for my senior dog for incontinence. The pharmacy didn鈥檛 have it and Chewy refuses to do business with him. He told chewy not to call him. Don鈥檛 use this man. He is a nightmare!!!
