I am a life long client of Windcrest and would not trust my pets to anyone else. Last Friday, I brought my 15 year old kitty in for a sick appointment because she was not eating and very lethargic. Dr Namey did an exam on her and discovered she had a large mass in her abdomen. After an ultrasound and x-ray, she confirmed that my sweet Matilda had enlarged spleen, liver, lymph nodes and fluid in her lungs and around her abdomen. Devastating news. It was cancer. My kitty was jaundiced as well. Dr Namey was very compassionate, as she ALWAYS is with me, and explained everything in detail. Also, Heather, my tech was fantastic and showed she really cared about my Matilda. I opted to give her palliative care at home in hopes to make her final days a little happier. On Sunday night, around 10PM, she was having difficulty breathing with her mouth wide open. I called the ER and they told me to bring her right in. When I arrived, they took me right in (I was an emotional mess) and informed the Dr that I did not want my kitty to suffer any longer and made the decision to help her cross the rainbow bridge. The ER tech and ER Dr were wonderful and compassionate. Thank you to everyone at Windcrest for all you do for our furry families.

My precious Coco passed away peacefully at home after a short battle with cancer. I placed a call to Windcrest Animal Hospital and they received her DOA. They were very compassionate and we felt our fur baby’s remains were in good care. I received the remains in a timely manner in a neatly packaged way with a card of sympathy and condolences. Thank you for your kindness during our time of grief and sorrow.

We had an emergency with our 3 1/2 year-old Doberman. He ate a few of my toddlers socks and could not pass them. He unfortunately needed to have emergency surgery to remove the foreign objects out of his stomach and intestines. It was very serious. The emergency doctors at Windcrest Animal Hospital as well as the technicians and other staff members were absolutely incredible. They saved my dogs life! Dr. Dawkins and Dr. Snijders were so kind and compassionate throughout the whole ordeal. Our dog was in the ICU for a number of days and I felt very comfortable having our dog in their care. The vet techs were also absolutely wonderful. Everyone in that building was so kind and compassionate throughout the entire few days he was there. Now my dog is on the road to recovery and they have been very easy to get a hold of to answer any questions I have. It’s just been an all-around great experience. thank you to the emergency doctors and staff for saving my dog. I wouldn’t know what to do without him.

This is a hard review to write, given the nature of my visit. But I cannot say more positive things about this facility. I brought in my guinea pig who was struggling to breathe. Every staff member was unbelievably patient, professional, and caring. They gave me as much time as I needed and helped me make one of the hardest decisions. Ultimately, my baby girl needed help crossing over and they were so compassionate and sympathetic. Thank you for your care today.

I was supposed to take my dog in for emergency care. We were told to check in when we got there and ended up sitting in the car for over and hour in January! To add injury to insult there was another car that pulled up and went right in, after I proceded to sit there longer, while my dog was bleeding from her stomach! I'm not white and that's the only reason I sat there with my car running for over an hour with no medical attention for my dog. I will never come here again! Needless to say I left and asked for a recommendation that they couldn't give. Ewww....bad taste and hopefully they are never in my situation!

Today, I unfortunately and unexpectedly had to put down my pet cockatiel that was with me for 15 years. Dr. Julian was amazing and helpful and compassionate. He helped me weigh the pros and cons of the situation and we decided together what the best decision was. As a brand new patient with an unfortunate outcome, it was everything someone asks for in a vet in this situation. Thank you so much for being there for us and we will definitely return with future birds.
