Winchester Veterinary Clinic

I have been bringing my pup here for years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff is amazing, and so kind. I never feel like they are pushing unnecessary procedures or products. Would recommend 10/10!

I switched vets after being with our previous vet for 15 years. I wish I would have switched years ago. Winchester Vet came highly recommended to me from our neighbor. The staff genuinely cares. My dog has some health issues due to a botched surgery from her previous vet- and the staff at winchester vet already knows her by name and give her the same love I do when she goes there. She isn’t just another patient to them. Their prices are very reasonable. The facility is extremely clean and welcoming. They are pretty punctual on appointment time too. Thank you Winchester Vet!

Winchester Veterinary Clinic is great! We first came to Winchester Veterinary Clinic in April of 2023 when our 5 year old Pitt mix developed lymphoma. She had been diagnosed at another clinic. When diagnosed, she was a little lethargic but was still eating and drinking and playing so we took her home on some steroids for comfort. The other clinic had said when she showed signs of decline and we felt it was time for her to be euthanized, call them right away and they would accommodate us. One day, about 4 weeks later, in a spam of about 12 hours she had a drastic change. Couldn’t eat, always sleeping, blood in her stool, lumps in her throat, no longer playing… it was time. We called the other clinic, and explained everything and they didn’t have time to see us for 5 days!! We called around to other clinics and because they didn’t diagnose the lymphoma they wouldn’t help us. Our poor girl was suffering and it seemed like no one would help. I finally called Winchester Veterinary Clinic, explained what was happening and even though they didn’t have an open appointment that day, they made an appointment for us first thing the next morning. We arrived and were immediately escorted back to a room that was set up in a peaceful environment. They allowed us to lay on the floor with her and gave us time after to say our goodbyes. The urn we got her back in was beautiful and they gave us a paw print and a clip of her hair as well. At the time, we had 2 other dogs at home and after that experience we immediately switched to Winchester Veterinary Clinic! Now, Winchester Veterinary Clinic cares for our 5 dogs (3 English Mastiffs and two mixed breeds). We see Dr. Sahr and she and her team always due an exceptional job. Ginger at the front desk is always so friendly and helpful. We will never take our animals elsewhere!

This vet is clearly not in business for the animals. Over priced. They charge you for disposal of oral medicine. Will not dispense Medicine to your animal Even though you’ve had the animal in there several times for the same problem. It’s been 5 months since They treated my animal his condition is Chronic. This vet will not dispense medicine . They claim I have to make another appointment. It’s a shame no one can even afford to take care to their pets correctly . When I do bring the animal in, they do not Administer the medicine in Affected area they leave that up you.

Had to let go of our 16 year old kitty which broke our hearts and the receptionist, technician and veterinarian were absolutely amazing! You could actually feel their compassion for us knowing how hard it was going to be to let go. From scheduling the appointment to the final end. They were so kind and caring. Gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye 😢 I highly recommend them for any veterinary care!
