I could not be happier or more thankful for all of the staff at Wilson's. We were sent home from our regular vet after being told our mini dachshund may or may not have an obstruction but we could wait a day and see how it went. We got home and within hours she wasn't doing well. We took her up to Wilson's and although we did have a long wait (there were lots of critical emergencies coming in that night) once we were seen the doctor immediately told us she had an obstruction, she'd be admitted for hospitalization, and put at the top of list for surgery. We got plenty of updates through her stay from the staff, and they helped ease my nerves about everything. She had a successful surgery and I know she got lots of love and made as comfortable as possible while she was there. She ended up staying for 3 nights but is home and resting with us. I truly cannot thank the staff enough for everything they did - including quite literally saving her life.

Feb 02, 2025 · Kirstyn DowneyWe had called last night we had an emergency with our girl Isabella. We called the hospital they took our info and told.us to come right away. We drove over an hour to get there, they were ready and rushed out to get her. The staff was amazing, gave us all waters and tissue. They were super fast to try to save our pup. In the end we had to decide to let her go pr not. They were very patient with us, brought her in to us to say our good byes. We never felt rushed during this time, they gave us ink and paper to make our paw prints one last time.💔 Thank you to the staff at 2 am for taking such good care of us and our girl. Fly high Isabella..you are no longer in pain... you will be missed severely 💔
Mar 24, 2025 · Jason MilhoanRip is the runt of his litter and weighed 17 ounces at six weeks old. His two sisters were three times bigger than him and he was not getting enough to eat so I brought him home. He had his first kitten injection at our vet on September 25th and was wormed. On September 28 we were at Hope College in Holland, Michigan watching the Pull when he started having trouble breathing and wouldn’t eat. Our vet called a prescription into Meijer’s for him and he started to get better the next day. Two days later he was congested again and we were told to double the antibiotic. We did and that worked for another two days. Rip got really sick and congested on Thursday night and our vet suggested we take him to Wilson’s. It was the BEST decision we could have made. We spent several hours there and Rip had x-rays and lots of blood work. He had a nebulizer treatment and was given a nose drop and a children’s chest congestion medicine we could order online from Walgreen’s and have the next day. He has been back for his breathing treatment for four days and he is doing so much better! Rip had two vets check him out and they worked wonders. He was wormed again and given lots of medical help. The techs and receptionists are wonderful with him and he is well spoiled there! I can never thank the vets enough for their explanations and encouragement on his illness. They saved my sanity as Rip has become a spoiled and much loved member of our family. We LOVE Wilson Veterinary Hospital and are happy to be part of their family now! The 24 hour emergency is a wonderful security factor for us as we now know we can be seen at any hour for any problem! Our whole family appreciates the excellent care Rip is getting!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Marcia, Rip and the whole family
Oct 14, 2024 · Marcia SullivanWilson's is an excellent emergency hospital. They save 2 of my dogs during 2 different occasions. The staff was very kind, and compassionate. They took the time to to comfort me as well as my dogs. They kept me updated on their conditions. They explained everything they possible could to help me understand their conditions and their treatments. Wilson's is a little over an hour away from where I live but I wouldn't consider taking them anywhere else.
Mar 19, 2025 · Elise OlivoMy review is very late, but a couple years ago, my childhood cat Kiwi suddenly broke her femur. She was already very old with health issues, specifically with her heart. I called at least 5 different vet ER clinics, and Wilson was the only one that was able to take my cat at such short notice, not to mention it was about 11 at night. Immediately upon arriving, they took my cat to the back to determine what was causing her inability to walk, and that is when we discovered her femur somehow broke when she jumped off a bed. The main veterinary doctor (unfortunately I don’t recall his name) gently told my father and I that surgery was an option, but due to her condition, she likely would not have made it. I made the heartbreaking decision to have my beloved kitty euthanized that night. After the euthanasia, about a week later, I received a sympathy card from this vet clinic. I just happened to come across it, which is why I felt compelled to leave this review about the outstanding, caring, and gentle help that the staff at this clinic gave not only to my cat, but to myself and my dad. Kiwi was apart of my life from the young age of 2, up until her passing when I was 20. We could not have come across a better clinic for our circumstances. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to the amazing staff and doctor that assisted us and provided Kiwi with as much comfort as possible up until the very end. You guys are AMAZING.
