Wignall Animal Hospital, as a full-service pet hospital, provides a wide range of veterinary services designed to meet the diverse needs of pets at every life stage. Their approach emphasizes necessary care without unnecessary add-ons, ensuring transparency and value for pet owners:

  • General Wellness & Preventive Care: This forms the cornerstone of their services. They offer routine check-ups, vaccinations, and preventive care programs. A standout feature is their "great program for vaccine services," which makes it "cheaper for the customer" by waiving exam fees and offering "10% off services and more for a monthly reasonable price." This demonstrates a commitment to making essential preventive care accessible.
  • Diagnostic Services: While specific diagnostic technologies are not detailed, a comprehensive animal hospital like Wignall would perform necessary diagnostics such as blood tests, urinalysis, and likely imaging (X-rays) to accurately diagnose health issues. The emphasis on "they are honest, won't sell you services unless dog really needs it" suggests a diagnostic process driven by medical necessity.
  • Surgical Services: As a full-service hospital, Wignall Animal Hospital provides various surgical procedures, ranging from routine operations like spays and neuters to more complex soft tissue surgeries as needed for a pet's health.
  • Dental Care: While not explicitly mentioned in the reviews, a comprehensive veterinary practice typically offers dental cleanings and other oral health services to maintain a pet's overall well-being.

  • Thrive Pet Healthcare Partnership: Being part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare network suggests adherence to a broader standard of care, shared resources, and a commitment to continuous improvement in veterinary medicine.

Today was my 2nd time visiting Wignall Animal Hospital for services for my dog. See below for my experience! * Wignall's prices are very reasonable, vs. Other vets * They accommodated me both times, scheduling was easy * Every staff member was super friendly, professional, helpful, patient, and welcoming * Amazing customer service * When I walked in, front desk greeted and checked me in right away, making customer their priority, they also greeted my dog. * Seen ontime for my visit * Appointment was a breeze, no waiting from my experience * Takes me 1 hr. travel time, but i'm willing to travel due to my previous positive experiences and pricing * Wignall waiting area, and visit rooms always clean and presentable * Been here 2 times 2024 & 2025, both great experiences * Always responsive to my emails and calls * Hours of operation are flexible hours, which I like * Has their own parking lot, free parking, plenty of spaces to park, parking spots are spacious as well as parking lot. * They are honest, won't sell you services unless dog really needs it then they will recommend what they think they need to stay healthy * Never once felt pressured to go with their services. Staff seem caring instead of trying to sell additional services to make extra money like most vets. * I heard about Wignall online when I was searching for vets, and i'm glad I picked Wignall. * They have a great program for vaccine services so it's cheaper for the customer, waives exam fee, 10% off services And more for monthly reasonable price. * First time my 5lb dog got nails trimmed professionally besides me trimming. My little dog is amazing and well behaved, but will attack, become aggressive when you try cutting her nails due to her anxiety. However they had her nails trimmed within 5 minutes! (Saved me so much time) I'm happy and appreciate the services I received from Wignall for my dog and highly recommend taking your pet there.

New pet for the house. Easy to get an appointment, taken in on time and had a very thorough examination. Best part was I didn’t feel rushed with the doctor. She answered all my (dumb) questions.

I am thrilled I found Wignall for boarding Princeton. They give him great care and I know he’s safe, secure, and getting lots of love while I’m away. I tried having pet sitters come to my home but an hour visit twice a day wasn’t enough time for a pet that was used to having somebody home all day. Wignall is a great place for pet boarding. The staff is fantastic and the care they give is beyond compare. Princeton and I highly recommend them.

I’ve been coming to wignall for 14 years now and they have gone down hill significantly. We had a bad experience with boarding in November and decided to give them a second chance as we have been bringing our dogs here for so long. Unfortunately, We just picked our dogs up from boarding - both dogs smell like pee, (literally covered in it) one of my dogs eyes are blood shot with goo coming out of his eyes. Last time we picked up both dogs smelled like pee and one of our dogs had a rash all over his body and was itchy until we had to put him on a round of meds. This isn’t a coincidence. Save your money & your animals and bring them elsewhere. Edit : yes, I did have concerns with the bill. 800$ for 5 days for my dogs to come back filthy and unsanitary is unacceptable. My dog doesn’t have a chronic eye condition. I can provide photos of my dogs with time stamps of the night before dropping them off vs picking them up. Not to mention when my mom called in November to check on them because my phone had broken while we were out of the country she was told they were sharing a crate and kept peeing on each other. Yet no one separated them. When she asked if someone could bathe them she was told that’s not what they do. There’s nothing further to discuss. We returned in good faith hoping for a better outcome but this was not the case. People should know what type of facility they are trusting their animals with.
