We are new to the practice. But the staff is very nice and very welcoming! Our puppy loves going to see the staff. Especially the cheese they put on the table. I feel very comfortable bringing our fur baby there. We have a friend that loves going there and highly recommended them to us. They have a couple cats with medical needs and the cats are doing well within their care

Feb 25, 2025 · Erin TWe moved to Michigan in February 2023. I was recommended WPP and we were happy from day one. We were on our 6th dog in 34 years and have been to a lot of Vet over that time. That is why I can give them a 5 start review. In July of 2024 we had to put our 13 year old Dalmatian down. Everyone at the office was extremely helpful and kind during this tough time. They met our special requests and helped us do this in a way that was humane for our sweet girl and for us. WPP, Thank you for everything. You all made Lady’s last year and half as comfortable as possible for an older active dog. Keep up the good work. Everyone on your staff from our experience was professional, knowledgeable, kind and caring. I will highly recommend anyone reading this review, you will not be disappointed bring your pet here. We certainly were not.
Aug 16, 2024 · Dennis DevittThis is long overdue. I lived in Whitehall, and started taking my malti poo as a puppy to Dr. Kidder. Over the years she performed two surgeries on my girl, and she healed very nicely. My girl has lots of other medical issues, and I spent a small fortune so far on her, but necessary. The staff is always nice and very caring. We moved a little over a year ago, and I had to switch vets. Pretty soon after the move, my dog got very sick, and I took her a few times to my new vet and eventually, an emergency vet. The Dr. in my new town (I won't say where), nearly killed my dog. Misdiagnosed her, and gave her medication (steroids). Unfortunately, she had severe undiagnosed infections. Her problem was not her allergies as they thought , but very bad infections in her ears and anal glands. I tried to explain to this new Dr. about her ears being way too red, but I was told her ears were fine after they swabbed them, at least twice on 2 appointments. They were not. A trip to an emergency vet a few days later because my dogs ears were bleeding! I spent way more than $1000 on this one illness so far at that point ( New vet was more expensive, and I quit counting the cost) and she was still sick, and getting worse. She was done with steroids before her ER visit , and the ear drop antibiotics they prescribed were not working very well. Thru the weekend, I watched my baby go downhill. After being up all night, Sunday late until Monday early am, holding my shaking, weak dog, I called whitehall pet practice the minute they opened. I asked them to see her and explained all we have been thru thus far, and how much sicker she was getting. They got her right in, and Dr. Kidder figured out her horrible infections within minutes. Two trips for treatments and antibiotics, and my girl was so much better! I cannot believe the condition she was in due to the other vet missing all her infections. My pup suffered for well over two weeks and I feel was not going to survive much longer if I continued to take her to them. God bless Dr. Kidder, Dr. Gray, and all the rest of the staff at Whitehall pet practice. I wish I remembered all the girls names, but I know their smiling faces. I now drive every month back to whitehall for her shot she needs and all her medical needs. My dog is worth these trips for competent and compassionate care.
Feb 07, 2025 · Judy WilsonDenied care after going here for about a year. My cat was established with pre-diagnosed problems but the vets knew nothing on environmental allergy treatment injections. I have the medication and dosage and pamphlet explaining what to do, we needed to increase dose but that never happened because I got told “she’s too confusing” and made to seem like I was in the wrong for trying to help keep my pet from scratching her skin off and getting hematomas as a result. Ultimately they told me to go elsewhere so I’d suggest not bothering to get established here in the first place. If you have an animal with special requirements I’d avoid this clinic.
