I would absolutely recommend White Oak Veterinary clinic. Back in February my dog Beau wouldn’t eat, couldn’t keep water down. I thought he was sick. After a couple days of no change, I started reaching out and seeing who could see him. White Oak Veterinary was able to see him that day. After a few x-rays, they discovered Beau must of swallowed some fabric that was causing the issues (he swallowed a long sock). Thankfully they were able to perform the surgery that day. The entire staff was caring and showed Beau love. From beginning to the end, I felt like he was in great hands and couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. It’s been over two months since Beaus surgery and he’s back to normal, living his daily life with his siblings. I can’t thank them enough. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend.

With a focus on both routine preventive care and urgent medical needs, White Oak Veterinary Clinic strives to be a trusted partner for pet owners in ensuring their beloved animals lead healthy and happy lives.
While specific detailed descriptions of the interior environment are not extensively highlighted in public information, the nature of a "Pet Hospital" suggests that White Oak Veterinary Clinic possesses standard facilities designed for veterinary practice. This typically includes a welcoming reception area, comfortable examination rooms, and specialized areas for diagnostics and treatment.
Evidence from customer reviews indicates the presence of essential diagnostic capabilities, such as X-ray machines, which were used to identify a swallowed foreign object in a dog. The ability to perform surgery on-site the same day a critical condition was diagnosed (a swallowed sock requiring immediate removal) strongly suggests the presence of a well-equipped surgical suite and the necessary medical infrastructure to handle urgent procedures. The clinic's capacity to quickly transition from diagnosis to surgical intervention implies a functional and efficient medical environment prepared for both routine and emergency situations. The overall sentiment from reviews suggests that the environment, coupled with the staff's approach, contributes to a sense of "great hands" and a positive outcome for the pets under their care.
White Oak Veterinary Clinic offers a broad spectrum of veterinary services, addressing both preventive care and acute medical conditions. Based on customer experiences, their key services include:
- Urgent and Emergency Care: As highlighted by the case of a dog swallowing a sock, the clinic demonstrates the capacity to handle urgent cases, including same-day diagnosis and surgical intervention for critical conditions. This is a crucial service for pet owners facing unexpected medical emergencies.
- General Wellness and Preventive Care: Regular check-ups and immunizations are a standard offering, as exemplified by the Shih Tzu's yearly check-up and vaccinations. This foundational care is essential for maintaining a pet's long-term health.
- Diagnostic Imaging: The use of X-rays for internal examination is confirmed, indicating their capability to diagnose issues ranging from foreign body ingestion to other internal ailments. While specific details on other imaging technologies like ultrasound are not provided, X-rays are a core diagnostic tool in any comprehensive pet hospital.
- Surgical Procedures: The successful performance of a foreign body removal surgery underscores their surgical expertise and ability to handle both planned and emergency operations.
- Nutritional Counseling: Discussions about low-calorie cat food and strategies for separating food among multiple pets demonstrate their commitment to addressing nutritional needs and weight management, which are vital aspects of pet health.
- Behavioral and Lifestyle Recommendations: Providing suggestions for issues like constant paw licking indicates they also offer advice on managing common pet behaviors and related health concerns.
- Senior Pet Care: The discussion regarding a senior pet's ongoing weight gain and testing options suggests an awareness and provision of care tailored to the unique needs of older animals.

This compassionate interaction is crucial for both pets and their owners, especially during stressful medical situations.
- Responsiveness and Timeliness: The clinic's ability to see an urgently sick dog "that day" and perform surgery immediately, resulting in a full recovery, showcases remarkable responsiveness and efficiency in critical situations. This quick action can be life-saving for pets.
- Thorough Examinations and Practical Advice: Dr. Green's willingness to thoroughly examine a pet, provide "suggestions to try" for issues like paw licking, and engage in detailed discussions about managing weight gain demonstrates a comprehensive and practical approach to pet health management. Apr 17, 2025 · Mathew GajdzikDr Green saw my Shih Tzu BAM BAM for his yearly check up and immunizations along with checking his paws he is constantly licking. She gave me some suggestions to try. I mentioned my cat gaining more weight since his visit and we discussed testing options along with low calorie cat food and separating him from other cat’s food. This is a mission impossible plan to separate cats and dogs food from him. But I’m going to try it. I was pleased she took the time to exam Bam Bam along with my cats ongoing weight gain. Also I get a senior discount which I appreciate as well. Every little bit helps.
May 13, 2025 · Linda LThe staff at White Oak are extremely knowledgeable and always make sure that you have a positive experience while at their office. Our feisty Havanese was recently in the office for a routine dental. She proved to be a handful and Marlo was very patient while assisting Dr. Green with her care even though she was not very cooperative. Thank you both (and the rest of the team) for all that you do to take care of our fur babies! I definitely recommend White Oak for all of your pet's needs!
May 13, 2025 · Cynthia DottererFriendly staff. Veterinary Tech was great, very gentle with elderly cat. Explained the treatment and cost very well. Listened to my concerns. Dr Turner was very thorough in the exam. Explained the condition that my cat has and what can be done to help her be more comfortable. I was very happy that I trusted my 18 year old cat to White Oak Veterinary Clinic.
Apr 17, 2025 · PaulaM GreenwaldStaff and Dr. Green are so kind and helpful. They are so sweet with my pets and are patient and helpful with pet parents. The wait time while in the office has always been reasonable, which is helpful since I’m usually on my lunch break and need to get back to work in a timely manner. Strongly recommend.
