Welcome to White Oak Animal Hospital - Clinic & Holistic Telemedicine

Welcome to the local introduction of White Oak Animal Hospital - Clinic & Holistic Telemedicine, a dedicated pet hospital serving the Fairview, Tennessee community and beyond. As a vital part of the 'Pet Hospital' platform category, White Oak Animal Hospital offers a wide range of services and products aimed at ensuring the health and well-being of your cherished animal companions. Located at 1341 Fairview Blvd, Fairview, TN 37062, USA, the clinic is committed to providing comprehensive veterinary care, blending traditional practices with modern holistic approaches and convenient telemedicine options.

At White Oak Animal Hospital, the environment is designed to be welcoming and comfortable for both pets and their owners. While specific details about the clinic's ambiance and facilities are not explicitly available in the provided information, a positive review highlights that the staff makes both pets and owners feel "so cared for." This suggests a compassionate and attentive atmosphere where your pet's comfort and your peace of mind are prioritized. A well-maintained and clean environment is a cornerstone of any reputable pet hospital, contributing to a stress-free experience for animals undergoing examination or treatment.

The services offered at White Oak Animal Hospital are likely to be extensive, covering a broad spectrum of veterinary needs. Based on the name, we can infer that they operate as a traditional animal clinic, providing routine check-ups, vaccinations, diagnostics, and medical treatments for various ailments. The inclusion of "Holistic Telemedicine" in their name indicates a forward-thinking approach to pet care. Holistic medicine focuses on the whole animal, considering physical, mental, and environmental factors in diagnosis and treatment. Telemedicine further expands their reach and convenience, allowing pet owners to consult with veterinarians remotely for certain issues, potentially saving time and reducing stress for both the animal and the owner. This could include virtual consultations, follow-up appointments, and advice on minor concerns.

While the specific features of White Oak Animal Hospital are not detailed in the provided text, we can deduce several key aspects based on the category and the services mentioned. A primary feature is their commitment to comprehensive care, addressing both routine and more complex medical needs. The integration of holistic approaches suggests a focus on preventative care and considering alternative therapies alongside conventional medicine. Telemedicine capabilities offer a significant advantage, providing accessible veterinary advice and care from the comfort of your home. This is particularly beneficial for routine follow-ups, behavioral consultations, or initial assessments where a physical examination might not be immediately necessary.

Furthermore, a positive customer review emphasizes "top-notch care," indicating a commitment to high standards of veterinary practice and a skilled and knowledgeable team. This suggests that pet owners can expect professional and competent medical attention for their animals. However, it is crucial to acknowledge a contrasting negative review. This review details an unsatisfactory experience where a customer felt unheard, overcharged, and treated with a lack of empathy during a stressful time. This feedback, while concerning, highlights the importance of consistent and compassionate customer service in the veterinary field. It also underscores the need for clear communication regarding consultation fees and a sensitive approach to pet owners, especially during difficult personal circumstances.

Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the given text. However, based on the services and potential features, White Oak Animal Hospital could consider several promotional strategies to attract local users. Highlighting their holistic telemedicine services could appeal to tech-savvy pet owners seeking convenient care options. Emphasizing the "top-notch care" mentioned in the positive review, perhaps through testimonials or information about their veterinary team's qualifications and experience, could build trust and credibility. They might also consider offering introductory discounts for new clients, wellness packages that bundle essential services at a reduced cost, or educational workshops on pet health and care for the local community. Given the negative review, a strong emphasis on customer service training and clear communication about fees would be crucial in rebuilding and maintaining a positive reputation.

In conclusion, White Oak Animal Hospital - Clinic & Holistic Telemedicine presents itself as a pet hospital in Fairview, TN, offering a blend of traditional and holistic veterinary care with the added convenience of telemedicine. While a positive review suggests excellent care and a caring environment, a negative review raises concerns about customer service and transparency in fees. For local users, White Oak Animal Hospital offers a potentially comprehensive range of services for their pets, with the added benefit of remote consultation options. However, it is advisable for prospective clients to consider all available feedback and perhaps inquire about their specific needs and concerns directly with the hospital to ensure a positive experience.

Im not one to leave a bad review but I think the public deserves to know certain experiences. My mother took her maltapoo to this vet yesterday because he had a brown spot that she couldn’t tell if it was a tick or mole. My father just passed away and he took care of their vet needs so this was already a stressful experience for her. I wasn’t available to go with her so she went alone. The male vet (don’t know his name) looked at her dog and said it was a mole and nothing to worry about. She said as soon as she walked in the vet seemed very preoccupied and not interested. She told him her husband passed away and he said “good”. Good!? He then looked at the mole, said everything was fine and then charged her over $140. For what!? He literally looked at a mole. But he didn’t even take time to acknowledge my mom’s husband just passing. She said she will never return. She said he acted like he didn’t even care and was completely not present, so much so that when she told him her husband passed he said “good”. If you’re going to be a vet, CARE. Be kind. And don’t charge a senior living on a fixed income $140 to simply look at a mole! They did nothing other than look.

As dog trainers we are very particular with the veterinary care of our furry family members. I have over 40 years of experience and my wife has almost 10 years. I have worked very closely with veterinary hospitals and am very familiar with the day to day operation. White Oak has treated us as family since day one. They helped us with our 14 year old min pin/mini greyhound mix as her health declined and age took its toll. They were sympathetic to her passing and we could feel the amount of care they had for not only us but our beloved Peanut. Dr. Damron and staff has always taken time to answer any questions we had. We have also been able to call and have any quick questions answered. When one of our pups had a loose stool, they got us in right away and he was back to normal in no time. Our dogs range from 4.5 months to 9 years and have received excellent care in each stage of their life. Being in the dog profession we highly recommend White Oak Animal Hospital!

Annual visit time for our old girl who has health issues. Doctor's good, sound medical practice and very kind, compassionate staff have kept us coming here for decades. Dr.D called the next day to discuss lab test results, time well spent. We do and have recommend White Oak Animal Hospital for your pet care.

They are the worst communicators. We've been using them for a couple years and have never met the vet or spoken to him on the phone, but when you are there in person if you ask to see him he is always "on the phone". The final straw for us was the last visit where they gave us two options, we picked the more expensive option. It wasn't until a couple of days later when we removed the bandage and found they did the cheaper option. They didn't tell us at pickup of the change, just instructions for when to remove the bandage. They still charged us for the more expensive option. After we removed the bandage and saw what had actually been done, I called to get an explanation and ended up playing phone tag for a week with the vet techs, no effort from the actual vet. Still no explanation, so we're done with them. Hope his online business is doing well because he apparently doesn't care about his vet practice.
