In moving to Nashville and going through a couple of mediocre vets, I stumbled upon WesVet almost on accident and I could not be happier that I did! Every member of staff at this office has treated both of my dogs like their own. No one makes me feel awful about having to put some treatments on hold due to financial constraints, they do not make me feel rushed even when I know I’m asking the same questions over and over, and they are SO friendly and knowledgeable. My geriatric dog (my soul mate, love of my life) had to have scary surgery and I am so grateful to Dr. Wes and Hannah and Kristen and Jaylon for all of their help. I recommend this vet one hundred percent. May all of your animals live long and happy lives.

The same reviewer specifically mentions the exceptional care provided to their geriatric dog, whom they consider a beloved companion, during a "scary surgery." They express profound gratitude to Dr. Wes, Hannah, Kristen, and Jaylon for their help, unequivocally recommending WesVet "one hundred percent." This testimonial speaks to the hospital's competence in handling complex medical situations, including surgery on senior pets, and the supportive and skilled team involved in such critical care.
Another reviewer shares a "fantastic" experience at WesVet while navigating a serious skin infection with their dog, Darwin. They highlight the team's friendliness, responsiveness, and helpfulness throughout the process. This review specifically commends Dr. Hayes, Kennedy, and the rest of the staff for providing "clear and practical options" at each step of the investigation, thoroughly explaining the pros and cons of different procedures and medications. Remarkably, the positive experience extended even after the pet owner and Darwin returned home to Seattle. Mar 06, 2025 · Emily RoseOur experience at WesVet was fantastic. The team was super friendly, responsive, and helpful as we navigated a serious skin infection with our pup, Darwin. Dr. Hayes, Kennedy, and the rest of the staff provided clear and practical options for how to investigate the issue at each step, breaking down the pros and cons of different procedures and medications. I appreciated the transparency, which allowed us to make the best decisions for Darwin as his condition evolved. Even after our return back home to Seattle, the team has continued to follow up with us and has made themselves available to provide recommendations for care and additional tests. Dr. Wes also made himself available for a complimentary phone call to continue discussing the case as we transition care to our vet in WA. Through our whole experience, the team has been willing to do everything to help at every opportunity. The folks at WesVet are clearly invested in the well-being of the animals they see and care for. I highly recommend WesVet Animal Hospital.
Jan 14, 2025 · Richard Colwell100% recommend this vet for dentals (that’s all I’ve used them for). They took such care with my baby and did an amazing job at cleaning the plaque off her teeth. Her 10 year old teeth look brand new, like puppy teeth! Dr. Hays is so kind and informative about the whole procedure. They even went the extra mile and trimmed her nails while she was under, which I didn’t ask or pay extra for, and that shows me that they really care about the health of your pet. Everyone that works there was so kind to us and I felt good about leaving my pup in their care. I highly recommend them!
Mar 24, 2025 · Wynne McDonoughHarpers story is below but I have Dr.Dobbs to thank for EVERYTHING he has done for us - truly the one of the best medical professionals I’ve ever met, I’m so thankful he’s our vet! My Miracle Girl - On September 29, Harper’s health declined severely, and she was given just a few days to live. The week was filled with numerous vet visits, a spleen removal surgery, and a blood transfusion, all uncertain whether they would help her survive. Harper means the world to me; she’s been in my life since college, and the thought of losing her broke my heart. I’m so happy to share that since last Friday, Harper has been trending upward daily, she’s shocked us all with her strength throughout her treatments. It’s truly a miracle that she’s still here. I’m incredibly thankful for all the veterinarians involved in her case, especially Dr. Dobbs (@wesvetanimalhospital). Continued prayers are needed that she continues to fight this sickness and lives out an amazing life for many years to come! 🩷🩷🩷
Oct 11, 2024 · Emily CTruly above and beyond. I’ll be honest, WesVet has always served as my backup vet because they do a wonderful job and have been incredibly accommodating with same day visits. After my last couple of visits, I think I made need to make a vet change to them permanently . Dr Hayes and staff are just that wonderful. They’re knowledgeable and very down to earth and provide realistic expectations. They don’t push unnecessary tests or treatments and as a result, they’re very affordable. There follow through is next level. They have come through for me on multiple occasions and you can tell they enjoy what they do and they love animals. They’ve treated my pets like I would. Lastly, despite some construction, the office itself is beautiful and very clean!!!
