This is for one vet only. A couple others treated me really well. If you love your baby do NOT go to Dr Melissa. I’ve had my dog for 10 years and have never experienced as poor of care from anyone else. 1. She wanted to sedate my dog for routine bloodwork and an xray. I told her that wasn’t necessary bc he is a very good dog and we’ve never done that before. She insisted so I only gave him half of the meds she wanted. My dog could not even walk he was sedated. Totally uncalled for and unsafe. I swore after that I’d never see her again. 2. My dog was having a cough. New onset. He’s a large breed. So I was concerned about his heart I took the first spot I could get. It was with her. At one point she literally asked me if he ate a rock…. Bc he was retching at the end of the cough and she thought it was his stomach.. I asked multiple times about his heart. long story short he’s now in the ICU at MU in heart failure with life threatening arrhythmias. So thank you Dr Melissa for delaying our care

Customer reviews offer a mixed but insightful perspective. One highly positive review highlights an emergency situation with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel during the holidays. Despite being first-time visitors, the clinic was incredibly accommodating and supportive during the difficult decision of the pet crossing the rainbow bridge. The compassionate approach, including a handwritten note and paw prints sent to the family, left a lasting positive impression, demonstrating the dedication and empathy of the staff. However, another review expressed significant concerns about the care provided by a specific veterinarian, Dr. Melissa. This client reported issues with over-sedation for routine procedures and a misdiagnosis of a serious heart condition, leading to delayed care. This particular feedback underscores the importance of clear communication and a thorough diagnostic process, and while it points to an isolated negative experience with one vet, it also serves as a reminder for prospective clients to consider individual experiences. Overall, while some specific instances may vary, the clinic's broad range of services and commitment to client education and convenience are evident.

This vet clinic was absolutely above and beyond! We were visiting family for the holidays and had never been seen here. We had an emergency with our sweet cavalier king Charles spainol. We called, and they were happy to help us in any way they could. Unfortunately, it is to no fault of the vet clinic. It was time for our sweet puppy to cross the rainbow bridge. The vet was very accommodating and walked us through every step of the way. After we returned home, we received a card with some paw prints of our sweet puppy as well as a handwritten note from the vet. I want to say thank you to all of the staff for all of your compation and dedication to your field of work.

Everyone was fantastic! Front desk was friendly, helpful, personable, informative, & genuinely interested in helping. Our vet tech was the best! He made certain our dogs felt safe & cared for. Dr. was the best! She took her time with each dog, explaining how visits would go, & allowed us to be there when she gave the vax so there was less anxiety for our dogs, & me 😉. Would 100% recommend & thanks to Jane's Pampered Pets for the recommendation & their work. Grateful to have these places in our community.

I took my dog in the day after Thanksgiving for vomiting the day before and acting lethargic and not eating. It was dismissed as a stomach bug and was assured we didn't need to do an x-ray. The vet even laughed it off saying everyone has a stomach ache the day after Thanksgiving. My dog died the next day from sepsis. He was only 4. Yes, I could have requested them to run more tests, but I was trusting their judgement and it cost me my dogs life. Wish I could give 0 stars instead of 1.

Dr Tessa gave compassionate and tender care for our family's Millie. She was very gentle with her physical exam and helped diagnose several compressed discs. Encouraged us to hold off on making final farewells just yet, until we give the meds time to work. I thought for sure we were going to have her put down today.
