Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and very gentle with our dogs. Expect the same treatment when I bring my cat Lilly in for her check up & vaccinations.

We got a new puppy and made our first visit to West Chester Vet. The office was very easy to work with and got us scheduled right away. Check in was easy as you text from the car. This avoids sick or aggressive animals and adds to the positive experience. The place is clean and every one friendly. The vet was informative and allowed questions. Very nice and caring for our dog. I’m just going to stick to the straight facts with this “business”. I took my puppy here to recieve shots. Upon getting in the office we waited about 45 mins for a quote which was over $700 for 3 visits plus shots. (They sneak in little optional things you have to ask to be removed which was $148 in total) I prepaid for all appointments and recieved a 10 percent discount. I scheduled for his next set of shots and when I showed up the doors were locked. We called and they informed us there”systems were down” and couldn’t see our puppy. Which was actually them violating their own cancellation policy! When I inquired about them not calling to inform us and to let them know it’s an hour and 20 mins round trip I was rudely put on hold with no warning. After holding a few minutes I called back another employee picked up and I told them the situation with being hung up on she said they would call back to reschedule as soon as the system was up. A day later 6 phone calls and a email I finally got ahold of someone. They were arrogant and acted like we had done something to them. No apologies for the wasted time or unprofessional employees. No resolution for what had happened. Then I started to read there reviews and seen this is an ongoing problem and I neglected to see prior. Every bad review they recieve the response is arrogant. I would go as far to say they have never been wrong… about anything….. They challenge customers in reviews and down play the employees actions… even as far as assaulting a customer. Or they will say there is no record of your animal. Also note if something happens to you or your animal their cameras won’t be working that day as other reviews have said. Going on today I picked up my refund which they made me jump through hoops to get since I paid in cash. I was given 20 min windows at odd hours I could pick up a check. Upon picking up the check they acted like they had never seen me. The owner wrote the check and never even talked to me. Which shows me they did nothing wrong in her mind. Then after going back to my car I had an employee knocking on my window demanding to know the amount of the check she just gave me…. They were looking for a reaction and for confrontation and was disappointed they didn’t get it. This place is a overpriced joke! And the owner will be upset when the employees and her ego drives this business in the ground. You wouldn’t stay at a 3 star hotel would you? Then please don’t make my mistake and take your dog to 3 star vet!

(2022)Update! We've now added a new addition to our family! A German Shepherd pup we named Shoto. We stayed with West Chester Veterinary Center. It's hard to find people who genuinely care about the patients as much as they do. Not only are they very clean, but they ALWAYS go through each and every single step with you all the way from vaccines to more serious issues that require more care. They also do exotics, which is good to know if you have them. Their gentle demeanor and caring staff make this place well worth it. (2020)Wow! I'm so impressed by this clinic and absolute AMAZING staff. They have been extremely professional and genuinely caring at every appointment! Dr. Mary also did an absolute stellar job at draining an abscess on my dog's jaw line, which is quite the accomplishment since he's a very large, timid boy around others. If you're looking for people who truly care about your pet, this is the place for you!

The West Chester Veterinary Care Center has a remarkable staff who strive to meet the needs of you and your pet(s). About a week ago I called to schedule an appointment for three kittens and they were able to squeeze me in for a visit within the hour of my call. The appointment only took about 10 minutes and I was able to receive the check up for free since it was my first visit. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and continue to check up on my kittens. I will definitely be going back and I recommend this care center to any pet owner!
