Jan 08, 2025 · Dominique RenaudI brought my new rescue here for a new patient appointment. I was happy they had some slots available (reason for the 2 stars) though I had to ask 3 different times before someone said they did have appointments. Their website states you get a free exam ($60 value) for rescuing a dog. I confirmed this twice prior to the appointment and just before he was seen yet I didn’t get the free exam. It was spring break so understandably busy and I didn’t mind the wait. However, the doctor kept leaving the room saying she was going to “review his records” when I could hear her attending to other pets. She expressed one’s anal glands, saw another. Finally she came and stayed in our room with his records in hand, reviewing them during the visit without much to say. Despite him having the bordetella vaccine a month ago she said he was due again though he isn’t a puppy. I told her he was my first dog and would appreciate advice on specifically a mini poodle and dog in general. Everything I asked she said “yeah that’s fine.” Is a cup twice a day a good amount of food? Yeah that’s fine. His head smells I think it’s his ears. He doesn’t smell too bad to me. Should he put on any weight? He’s fine. The front desk girls were no better. I asked for a note to say I’d been there and the receptionist said they don’t do that. I asked her to ask the doctor and magically I got a note. On my bill only $30 was reduced from the price of the $60 visit instead of it being free as advertised. There were other pricing discrepancies but after arguing for 5 minutes I decided to let it go and I simply won’t return. Aside from a rebate for nexgard plus this was a wasted visit. I learned nothing about my dog, he got an unnecessary vaccine and I had to take him to another vet for proper care.
Mar 30, 2025 · S FI have bringing my variety of pets here since 1996. They are fabulous and caring. Some staff members have been there that long too....THAT speaks volumes Always a good experience. I started with them because they were close. I now live in Cypress and still drive all the way in. Would not turn my current senior citizen cat to anyone else
